I'm growing a mandarin autoflower in my trash can/spacebucket. She is 13 days old and in happy frog soil and perlite. I water about once a week with no nutrients yet. I have fox farm trio to use when it comes time. My questions are how does she look and how old should she be when I start feeding her and when should I start LST? I know to feed her 1/4 of the recommendation for photo periods. I appreciate everyone's help in advance.

Looks fine to me. You can start feeding(not full strength) and using lst soon, maybe give it a few days to a week more.

Do these leaves look alittle droopy? Soil is dry on top but moisture meter says moist about 4-5 inches down.

Plant looks fine to me,soil does look a bit dry despite the moisture reading. At this stage I wouldn't worry too much about overwatering it,its more during the seedling stage you will have major problems.

Give it some water/nutes in a day or two and keep on doing what you've been doing.

The plant looks exactly like mine do right now and I have no worries

I'm probably way too paranoid. I appreciate it a bunch but hopefully I didn't just screw up then cause I already watered and fed about 1-3 of a tsp per gallon and started lst.

I did that about 3 hours ago and I already see the leaves are less droopy.

Looks good for it's age, I feed my autos botanacare pro grow just fish mulch and nitro I feed lightly at 21 days from sprout of 3 full sets witchever comes first, it's not a good idea to use smart pot's this time of year bc it's dry and low rh and sides of pot's dry out, nursery pot's hold water longer and you don't have to worry about the sides drying out, plants grow slower this time of year but here is a Pic of dark devel auto sorry but it is under a booster just started to flower it yesterday. Just keep it happy healthy and wet this time of year, in another month grow conditions will be better and not so dry.

Maybe. If its doing really well you won't notice much slow down in growth, every 24 hrs you will notice the top of the plant growing a bit more and bending back up towards the light.

Just bend it back down every so often and new shoots should start popping out.

Report back in a couple of weeks,at the moment everything is looking fine to me.

Thanks man. I've never thought about using nursery pot's but I look into everything when someone recommends it to me. This is only my second attempt at an auto and my first was a disaster because I was over watering from the first day and my plant was stunted really bad. Now I'm pretty careful on how often I water and I have a moisture meter now but it went from watering once a week to now watering every 2-3 days out of nowhere. I think its because I didn't have a plant elevator then and I recently got one. Didn't expect that big of a difference though.

Hey man! How's it going? No sir, just waiting for spring as well but I figured it's a good time to try some autos while I wait. Still have to get on the ball about ordering some fem seeds but trying to decide on a seed bank is tough for me. I ordered these auto seeds from a member on this page at an amazing price and out of the 2 I've seen they seem great. Would like to find someone else that has good fem beans I could order from but if I have to use a seedbank I think I'll choose msnl. Glad to hear from you mate!

Hey everyone. This is me reporting back. This is the plant now
Not too terrible if you ask me. Especially for being grown in a trash can. The past couple of days I've noticed pistils showing up. I just watered with plain 6.2 water 2 days ago and I was wondering that when it comes time should I add the tiger bloom as well as grow big? I think I slightly burned her last week because I noticed a brown tip. It didn't get any worse but that's why I gave plain water this week. I haven't really been using a feed schedule, just using my best judgment as well as the help from you guys. 28 days old. Thanks everyone, I appreciate you.

LOOKS GREAT! I've been growing nothing but auto's for the last two years and have nute burned more than a few. I start with half the recommendation and go from there. Some strains can take more, some less. Happy growing!
