So at the moment I’m using some leds I picked up a while back but plan to actually use HPS once Veg starts.

I have these 4’ - 30W 4000Lumen 6500K LED and I have about 24 of them. Right now I have 5 over the top of my 10 day old seedlings but I’m not seeing much growth. I’m concerned about how high or how close to hang them.

I had planned to put 10 together (300W) but worried it would be too much for them. Any suggestions on how high to have the lights or how many to use at first would be appreciated.

Put up a pic of the lights over your seedlings, that way folk can get an idea of your lights footprint.

You could drop your lights a little bit. If you look on the wall behind your seedlings, you'll see a bright patch, your seedlings want to be as near to that bright patch as you can with out frying them with heat. I don't know how much heat your lights kick out, so go steady.

Your seedlings look ok, they're up and praying, that's a good sign.
