how hot is too hot

yeah yeah 75- 85 prolly optimum . Just wondering how hot is too hot ? Is heat tolerated better during veg than flower ? I see youtube vids of mendo guys growing trees and talking about high 90's and then some . Those trees don't seem to be suffering ?

How critical are 90's and what say yeez

Seemed like a legit question. Summer temps in many places around the world are not ideal . Wondering about hot or high temps during veg not being as detrimental as in flower but who knows . Assuming some strains are better adapted to warmer climates . No opinions or experience :(

Too hot and plants don't grow, have you noticed how plants wilt in hot days? Also have you noticed how plants flower in the Fall when it's cooler outside? So don't flower in the summer when it's hot because the first thing to evaporate are the aroma cannabinoids so your bud will have very little smell when grown in high temperatures.

Plants grow during the lights off period, but they make the food during the day during photosynthesis. The process stops once it get above a certain level... this doesn't mean the plant dies, it just doesn't make as much energy for use later on, resulting in smaller plants. Outdoor grows also have a ton of light, so it sort of offsets things. Once temps drop down a little, the plants resume making their energy, s it's only during the hot hours that they slow down. I think that doesn't happen until the mid 9os, but I could e mistaken.

I've noticed my indoor plants would tolerate 95 degree temps pretty well in the past, when I didn't have the equipment I have now. If you supplement co2 they seem to do even better under those temps. If your grow room is staying a little higher all the time, they will adapt. If its abnormal fluctuations, they may not do as well.

Not to argue but I've never had that problem, in fact I wish that were true maybe neighbors would do a little less rubberneckin' when they drive by my ranch.

My plants have hit 100 and somehow survived. Airflow what lights can contribute but my plants are use to the low eighties I like to keep it around 85, 90 is as about as high as I go before i cool it down in it there

I newbie at growing , got good info from

. These people.my tent runs sometimes 86 at highest and lowest 68, with an average of about 75 seems to work..have humidifier and don’t test on leaves so I really don’t think the plant gets that hot.i have 2 300w leds in my 2x4x 5 tent ,
Since I cut some colas to dry have been trying to keep ave temp in room at 75 give or take are degrees .so we shall see how it all turns out..I have 3 plants some 5 week in flower

The tissue of a plant can tolerate up to 45 degrees celcius before the cells die, so if a plant has enough water it can tolerate room/enviroment temperatures even higher than that as the plant cools down when water evaporates from the leaves.
