How does my first ever LST look? In trying to get my stems to bend properly did I get my plant too close to the soil?

for my gusta- bit too close at the end
watch out for infections on leaf/ground touch level
me personally I give bit more of cm, top and mainline on sides just to avoid it- everything that flops on the ground longer will get destroyed, burned and you need a bit of wiggle room between pot and plant
she will give you more triplets- means you are stressing her too much šŸ˜‰
I would wait now and see how she will come up from it I guess 🤟
or release the end, wait for her to get up, top later and direct two main colas on sides instead of one
greets

and with the plant this size and big bucket as it looks like some big bucket I would start to water with more radius and saturate that medium bit more 🪣 what is it? soil? or coco? or mix?

Its soil. The problem with topping it though is it's an Indica Autoflower and it's already starting to Bud. I've read multiple articles online stating that you don't normally want to top and indica Autoflower whatsoever but especially not after they've already started producing bud. But I can definitely work on trying to bring it up from the soil a bit and make sure none of us touching the ground too much at all I wasn't aware that it would cause infection like that thank you for the heads up

well
Didn't even think it was an auto because what would be the point of doing that with auto. LST like this plus top needs time- autos don't have it. You took half of life from it basically.
If it flowers now in this shape and form that you showed here- you will have just small % of harvest if any- but come back and show us what she gave you when treated like this šŸ˜‰
greets

You can top autoflowers, you just have to be mindful/strategic of how you do it. They can get big just not as big as photoperiods.

the point of autoflower is main cola, yours lie-down topped on the floor šŸ˜‰
but good luck- you will be able to check your theories on yourself- best way āœŒļø

I didn't top it? I just used lst and the reason being is because I grew the same exact strain from the seed without LST or topping it or anything I just let it grow and hey grew beautifully no issues whatsoever super dank weed but all said and done I only got about a little over a quarter ounce from it. So this time I wanted to try something different I might allow me to produce a bit higher yield. But again I DID NOT top my plant. And personally I think so far the thing is growing fucking beautifully I'll post a current picture of it right now and you can tell me what you think.

yet another bonsaĆÆ , dwarf ...

i think in general people should focus on achieving an healthy and vigorous growth the first few weeks with untouched plants at first instead of attempting torturing stunted plant on start up ...

if it's already flowering i m assuming that's an auto.

this is what untouched auto should look in term of size.

indica dominant strain:
7014714 topshelfstealth23fastbudsgorilla zkittlez auto

sativa dominant strain:
8116584 3x3

no intent being rude or what but this is what i would call beautifull plants, your is nothing like that in term of growth.

i think before attempting any LST, topping or whatsoever you should focus on achieving a vigorous growth on start up and afterward, once you succeed having bigger plants then eventually have a look into advanced growing methods.

Indica dominant strain stay rather short and buds arent's that far from artificial lights, so no real benefit LSTing them anyway.

Love it!! Love what your doing! I can't wait to play more next time trying to do it sooner and more intense . I wish I had been more aggressive sooner , snap or really tie down some more branches etc, looking at what I did to them this time. Just better knowing when is best would be good to learn 🤣I had one split in half right down the middle and recover so I feel more confident I won't kill them😁

well that may have sound a bit harsh this morning, i had a look at your profile and photos, seem like you've tried different growing method and are having issue with experiencing and healthy and vigorous growth the first few weeks.

Next time you pop seeds, start a thread sharing what your doing and your progress on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, so we can try to help with what your doing wrong on start up.

God damn those are pretty. And yes I know it's short snd dwarfy I just ment it looks good as far as health. At least I think it does. But yes, I will give a more in depth view of how I start my plants once I get some more seeds. Or bettet yet,I can just tell/show yall what im working with and maybe you you all can just tell me what you think would be best. Cuz you guys are totally right, I'm having trouble with vigorous growth start. It's just hard being upset with something you've put so much time and effort into if it's still green and pretty just not as big as I would like, ya know?

you will need to share all the details of what your using and doing the first two three weeks after germination with some photos day by day or minimum bi weekly so we can try to identify what's wrong and stunting your plant on start up.

otherway yeah looking healthy enough (may be one leaf a bit light green on the last photo), and you'r totally right not being upset after your plants ; )

no point in being upset. I have killed seedling in coco few days ago and I grow for years 🤣
we live and learn āœŒļø and thanks for sharing

If you would like to try more LST and training choosing resistant stable photoperiod will be a better option- they are easier to grow and they will forgive you more during training and learning šŸ˜‰

I’m doing my 1st LST grow now. I let them get about 6in before I started training to keep the leaves off the soil. Here are my plants. 3 GG4 and 2 OG Sapphire 18 days into flower now.
