Copy, good deal.I will give it a try.Usually by now.I'm seeing a lil amber. most of the trics on this are cloudy. ill give it a look i'll just give plain water for the next week and chop it.Thanks for the heads up manIf you are all cloudy on trics you may want to peel a bud from a stem and take an inside pic. My last grow Apple Fritter was about 30% amber on the outside but peeling a bud back convinced me to wait another 7 days till they went all cloudy on the inside.
I used a node 3 stem run about 1/2 way up it skipped a spot on the run. Just grabbed it and wiggled it from around the stem but kept its stem intact. Click pic and push it back in.
O k it all about preference i suppose. i've only done about 8 plants so I don't haveI mostly look for a high ratio of cloudy to both clear and amber. IOW, the more that are cloudy the better. Preferably, for us, all cloudy is best, but there are usually some of the others. It's a matter of personal preference.
I don't start looking at trichomes until most of the hairs (pistils) have turned a dark amber color. The pistils at the top of the buds are usually the last to change color.what if you have mostly cloudy trycombs but only 75% of the hairs have color and the rest are white
Some folks like a higher percentage of amber trichomes because the weed is more mellow. Our preference is to have very few that are amber, if any. We'll take amber over clear, though. IMO, there's a wider harvesting window than many folks realize.it all about preference i suppose
