How long to veg?

Im looking to get 10+ oz from 2 photos.

My setup:

70/30 coco and perlite [5 gal pots]
1x QB288 240w 3500k LED
4x2x5 tent
GH trio + calmag + PK 9-18 [for flowering]

Not decided a strain yet but I am looking to get 5+ oz from each plant or do one big plant.
How long would I need to veg the two plants to get 5+ oz each with the light I have?
If i did one big plant how long would i want to veg to get 10+ oz?
Any recommended strain would be appreciated.

Also, i could change medium and nutes if it would make a difference.

It depends on the strain. My NL#5xHaze in ebb and flow clones are almost the needed size at 3 weeks.

Your light should suffice.

Im no coco expert but it can work.

Do you care how long it takes to flower?

If no, go with a hybrid like mine. Long dense colas but take for ever.

If yes, go indica dominant. Almost as good yeild in less time. Less wasted stretch growth.

Either way I think you are looking at about a 4 week veg to get your needed results. Then either 6 to 12 weeks for flowers to mature depending on strain.

My week 3 girls are below. I exepect they would fill up canopy and give me just shy of your specific amounts after a 9 week flower.

You're not going to be able to pull that weight with that light, you'd need 2 or 3 of those lights to pull that amount in my opinion, assuming everything else went perfectly, good luck

Seems doable but not easy for sure.

Not sure about your light. My 2x4 with 2 150w hps
can produce 10oz or more in 4 months or less. 2 plants vegging 6 weeks.

What? I thought LEDs were supposed to be more efficient than hps.
