How Many Bud Sites?

Hello again farmers.. First off I apologise if this has been covered before and I havent done my homework properly.
I ran a quick web search and I find a mixture of opinions.. but I wanted to ask on here as this is my most trusted source of knowledge!

So in your own opinion and experience do you think its better to have less or more bud sites to get the best yields?
I have 20+ buds per plant this grow but every bud is pretty small... maybe 2 inches high and 3 inches round..
I fear this i going to be a pain staking harvest night!!

More is better usually... unless you flip too early after topping. One thing youll notice is if you leave big fat colas on top you run a higher risk of bud rot late in flower<<<only some strains

hmm.. i was thinking of flipping when i had 10 - 15 bud sites on my next grow.. I doubt these tiddlers will be getting bud rot.
And it looks like you are farming some big trees on your instagram

How long u vegging for?a proper veg is def key,and like my boy gt said,dnt top/fim and immediatly flip.i prefer lst/cropping so lot less healing involved.i only fim my heavy indicas.i had someone trying to get me on instagram.i just kno the boys check all social media.

I try and clean all the excess sites away. I want concentrated sites and energy in the right places. Lollypop the whole time, the lowers grow fast and require constant cleaning every week. It will all come down to care and attention provided to get good yields with over 20 sites.

I was wondering same thing as I'm doing a cheap grow with cfls I have a few bud sites but I'm in day 28 of flower but I fee like my buds are small or is it still early in flower?

Make sure everything is clean farthest from the light and get some t5 bulbs to add to the mix

it is wat it is wen using cfl.yur pheno is kinda lanky which makes it hard for cfl since they dnt hav penetration.try in upgrade nxt run or wenever possible

we are getting more interesting in this thrad now. I just the plants grow this time.. no topping or trimming. Just scrog right through. I made some serious errors this grow and wont be doing it again
