Deficiency of some sort. It could be a lot of stuff going on. Depending on the plants age…all sorts of stuff will determine what you do to play off that single leaf.

We need to see the plant. If it’s lower leafs or if the whole plant is showing the same. Or is it just this one? Because if it is just one and others don’t start showing in a days time or two, then you may need to do nothing. Depending on your situation and stage of growth. It may be an early sign.

I have deficiency on all these leaves. But I don’t care because I am on week 6 and I know my nutrients are what they need to be. So these signals mean nothing. Because they show me a deficiency is phosphorus. But, because I am at my week 6 and I switch my nutrient phase to include a lot more P and K by schedule anyways. So these leafs, don’t matter to me. I won’t make adjustments on them as they would be dealt with in just a few days after plucking them all off.

It does mean I could have changed my K like 4 days prior maybe. But it isn’t concerning as the leafs have been very slow at showing it. Telling me it is just a minor deficiency and she isn’t turning to major necrosis to get that nutrient.

But the thing is, I know my Ph is on point, temps and humidity are proper. PPM is proper and static. So, every question of a deficiency has to be accompanied by more detail. Even a “Oops I didn’t Ph balance my last feed on accident” can bust out some deficiencies.

I'd say nothing is wrong with that leaf. Something is likely out of order with your plant though. We would need to see the whole plant. Is this a leaf from the top or bottom of the plant? Is the whole plant being impacted? Unfortunately, your question just bring on more questions...

I see his pics in his profile but not 100% sure those are the plants in question. But if it is, you have multiple deficiencies. If the pics are all from different plants, I’d like to say there is a feeding discrepancy between all the plants and they are all not getting what they need. But if you are feeding exact same nutrient mix throughout all of those plants then that brings me back to Ph of runoff because that in itself will cause deficiencies. With multiple plants in operation, Ph can 100% be the main culprit. Especially if each plant isn’t getting the runoff checks for Ph and PPM. If you read off one and do it to all, you’ll have some Ph problems. Nutrient availability through Ph issues.

Please don't take this wrong just asking....have you ever tried doing a comparison between ph-ing a strain and not ph checking/correcting?

I used to ph and gave it up... ph up and down full of heavy metals...

Just being curious my friend that's all

For sure. I have not added Ph up/down to my mixes for a while. If your starting water and nutrients you mix get you on point, you don’t need Ph up/down. But if you can’t manage to keep the Ph proper naturally then you have to use those products. I get Ph swings but I don’t play off them. Sometimes Ph is at 5.8 and then 2 days later she is at 6.2. It doesn’t change my feed/top off Ph and I most certainly don’t chase Ph.

So I feel you. I have a family member who swears by never doing Ph checks, or balancing his Ph. Every time I go to his grow, his leafs are turning yellows, orange and crispy. I wonder why. If you are in soil, it’s a buffer and allows for more boo boos. But Ph is a big deal. Either of right to Ph and PPM or use some products to get it there. The only problem is, the more you use the more you chase. Because!, most people don’t wait the 1+ hours to check rested Ph after using Up/down before feeding. So they screw it all up and get fluctuating Ph all the time from using them.

It can be a variety of things... media...nutes...temps...genetics...

Granted the science behind it is sound... nitrogen is best uptake for a plant at a 5.8 ph and for phos and potassium plant uptake is around 6.8...

For me personally and only my opinion (not telling anyone to follow)
Once I gave up checking ph... growing became a lot more fun

Without seeing the rest of the plant or knowing anything about how you're growing, this is speculation, but I'll play. The edge curl and purple petiole make me think you might be over-lit. The tip burn and yellowing from the ends make me think you might be over-fed. Without more info, that's just a guess.

You do know to be able to determine what's wrong, you need to give details about everything, soil, light, feed? Day of flower? Temp, Rh, pH, EC, what type of water are you using?

That can literally be anything spots with yelling, could be compound poising, to much Zinc, or too much any other heavy metal. The only way to know is give all the details possible, your just posting pictures.

Every little detail matters.
