This is why i dont have a camera in my area!🤣 id be checking it every 15 minutes! 😆 ill go into my shed sometimes twice a day! : ) on the flip side ill ignore it some days. ✌️

I run DWC so I check them at least twice a day when I check EC and PH. I also keep water temps low by throwing frozen water bottles in the reservoir, so I see them then too. They are also about 10 feet from me at this very moment, closet door open, so I am seeing them now! 🤣

Doing actual work to the plants is about 3-4 times per day. I can cut that down to once a day if I ever get (or make) a water chiller and switch to PH perfect nutrients.

I have a worn path from my door to my plants, where grass doesn't grow anymore. Well...almost.😆

This is my first year growing in my garden. So I wanna see all the changes, so I'm more prepared for the next grow.

Sorry to break this to ya Hoss, but next year outdoors will be totally different. 😉
I'm in my 6th year, and there's always new challenges. LOL

Oh, and I check 1-4 times a day, depending.

My plants get tended to once daily. When I was a beginner, I spent hours daily with them. After many runs, not so much. If they are tended to properly, they don't need babysitting.

On the other hand, as long as a grower isn't over-mothering them (I call that smothering them), there's nothing wrong with observing them regularly and taking mental notes.

As for outdoors? You can do everything perfectly by the book and still have trouble. It's not the grower. It's mother nature and the challenges she places in your way.

That's the cool part of it all. Must have diversity, or it'd become boring.

Different strains, different problems, different amendments, nutes, ect.

Just in search of the eternal buzz.🤣

if you use masterblend with RO water it will naturally go to 5.8 chillers cost too much power for me i just add bacteria and they handle temps i cant remember what was the highest temp but maybe water hit 30

I do daily walks. Only smoke outside so that's a lot. Every walk I see different things so i always got some trimmers and pincers on standby.

Not so much inside. Every morning they get a quick glance. Bit more if I spot things.

Just sitting around them in the garden at night, smoking a joint, looking around is also just very calming.

It depends.
If I am starting a new strain and looking for the correct light setting early on I may look every 2 hours, especially when I am raising lights.
Once lights and nutes are balanced or it's a strain I know ( 2 wow two whole strains so far) I will not open the tent until maintenance duties. As I move the temp/humidity sensors to top of canopy I can judge growth by its " movement " through the window.

Honest question...I don't care if I grow outside or inside. I check/look in on my plants way more than I need to! Anyone else have the same problem?
Absolutely, in fact, from where I'm sitting here typing I can see my outdoor plants through the window and also the last one I have inside. It's not just a hobby anymore, it's an obsession.
