Been reading up on this risks of wind damage and asking what growers typically do.

Should wind be introduced at the seedling stage? Continued through flowering?
Should all the leaves (as much as possible) of the plant gently move?
Throughout the entire day cycle? Night cycle?

Wind can help them build stem strength. Too much and you can burn and energy put into strengthening the stems as it tries to grow still. Wind is a stress.
My personal rule I follow is if you have enough airflow to balance the room/tents temperature and your plants have airflow, that’s all you need. Wind is not going to be anything more than extra stress. If wind is your LST for stem strength then so be it but risk the wind burn.

You simply don’t need much wind if you LST correctly and achieve that stem girth in veg, temps are fine and even throughout the room (no hot spots), and you have proper pruning and plant airflow.
Lick the finger, put it behind the plant, feel a little breeze? That’s all you need. Only if you need the other benefit should you blast them with high wind.
Never saying you can’t F around and Find out though, playing with wind cycles.

I run a light breeze all day all night with slight twitching of the leaves.
Indirect wind, I bounce wind off walls. Your leaf temps drop a lot when you directly aim the Dan on your plants. Great color but you are chillin their jive.

Good to know. Thanks. And do you continue through the flowering phase?

Cool. I will try that. Thanks
And thanks for the Bruce Lee quote. At first I thought it was a line from the Keanu Reeves's Little Buddha movie. :)
Little Buddha is way more insightful than people know
