86f at 50+% rh will render any carbon filter damn near useless…..they DO NOT like high heat and humidity or they will stop working u till they dry out and cool down

Temp has negligable effects on activated charcoal. High humidity does effect filter performance but once the charcoal in the filter has dried it becomes effective again.
