Im a first time grower and I'm not sure how to tell when auto buds are ready for harvest. These buds are very small but appear almost ready to me.
How long should I wait until I cut and cure them?

Are you going by the color of the trichomes. What color should they be when I harvest.
no, just by looking at the buds in the photo, you need a jewellers loop etc to see the development of the trichomes.
just leave her be for now.

You can also try 2 days with total darkness at the end. Ancient astronaut theorists say it speeds resin to the buds because plants think they are dying. You cant plan behind but looking frosty so far

How long have they been flowering ? It should take approximately 65 to 70 days from start to finish , roughly

Its been 56 days since sprout. These are supposed to be 9 week Autos. I know 9 weeks is not written in stone but Im new and I'm just trying to figure things out so I don't ruin my plant.. Pistils started after day 33. The buds are pretty small and I was wondering how long should I wait. I've been told at least 1 month.

You are 23 days in out of 60. Minimum a month left. Here is mine day 37 of estimated 60.

So you are saying the general rule is 60 days from the start of pistils until the flowering is finished? That's why I'm confused everything I've read on feed schedules is that bloom last about 6 weeks or 42 days for auto flowers.

There is no general rule. Every plant and every grow is different.

I have had plants from 5 seed packs the breeder claims 8 week flowering and every plant finished in different time. The last harvest being 12 weeks.

And that is with 6 week veg. Thats another variable. Plant maturity.

You grow great looking plants. Do you harvest when the trichomes are milky or just stating to turn amber. Thanks for the advice and knowledge from everyone.
