I put a humidity meter off Amazon in the jar and burp/manage them based off the readings

Cool, I would pressure test your seals, any leak will ruin your jars environment. Pull a vacuum or pressurized.

I know in the old days I'd use the analog Hylid hygrometer (they have digital now) on my jars, but now I throw a Govee in a terp bag and it alerts me if the parameters I set for temp/humidity/dew point/VPD are exceeded.

I weigh sample branches, when the weight loss is minimal, say a gram in 24 hours, right in the jars. Always 60-62% curing and burping
