How to fight light burn

Have you a side by side comparison pic you can load
I want to see the other plants before I comment bar the only way to combat light stress is to either dim the light or haul it up
After thought Is that plant nearer the oscillating fan than the others

So to combat this I put the plants that are taking it in stride about 4-6” higher with risers, as the plant that’s being affected acclimates to the light intensity they’ll perk back up and you can try to bring it back in line with the rest

My pots are almost never the same level, atm I have one on a rolling rack, one on a 14” plant stand and the other on a 4” stand, I try to keep all the tops at the same level once they can equally handle the intensity

so i can put the pots on a 4 inch stand i just raise the light to accommodate the plants on the stand leaving the affected plant on the floor about 4 inch further away from the light ?

Some strains are more hardy than others, some like more food ,some like less each ones different and has different preferences.

Tbh even each plant can differ one may also be a pheno and show totaly different Charistics ( sp ? )

The others showing it just not as bad

Yep that’s about right

Yes exactly, let the ones who are taking in the lift get all they want, give the affected one a bit of extra distance, most of the time you’ll find a good equilibrium but some plants / strains just like less light than others

It’s those little things that people always forget they do haha, you’re so used to it, it’s just second nature and you don’t even think about doing it anymore lol

That plant does not have any light burn at all!!
If anything it's starting to get a slight mag deficiency!
Have you measured light intensity?
What light are you using?
How close is it above the plant?
I dont think it’s light burn either, at most it’s just too intense of light for it’s stage,

The MG def I though too but really looking at the pic I think it’s just the light angle making it look like the classic pinstripe between veins,

I have had one strain go slight mag def on me mid veg, in fact myself and @Captspaulding both had it at the same time earlier on our current grows (same strain same breeder) some plants are just plain out hungry, but no complaints on that I prefer a heavier feed.

I do agree with the distance and checking light intensity / DLI measurements, how she currently looks best option would be either to back the power down a bit and raise up the others or pick the light up, a bit, normally a slight light adjustment at this stage is all they need to get back in line, I prefer to work the light a bit before I hit such a young plant with any type of neut, but we do all have our own styles that work for us 😁

You will find hot spots under any light. Maybe this plant is just sitting in a light hot spot.

lights are 20 inches above the raised plants at about 55 percent mars suggest 12 inches at 50 percent

That doesn’t look like light burn to me. I’m a professional light burner and plant stretcher, so Id like to think I’m a bit of an expert 😂 @GNick55 thoughts?
