What is Cannabis Oil?

- Grown organically. Any chemical fertilizers or pesticides used in the growing process will end up in concentrated levels in your finished product.
- Grown with a natural water source or well. Tap water or municipal water often has fluoride, chlorine and other chemicals added to it.
- Indica dominant. It is not recommended to use Sativa strains to make RSO. Indica dominant strains have a powerful sleep-inducing effect, and our bodies are able to repair themselves best during sleep.
- High in THC. The higher in THC your strain is, the more potent the end product will be.

- A long wooden stick, 2′ x 2′ lumber works good. Make sure it is not chemically treated wood.

- Place alcohol in freezerfreezer overnight. The resin glands containing cannabinoids separate easily from the flower when washed with chilled liquid
- Put the completely dried flowers in bucket or stock pot and freezefreeze overnight.
- Fill the frozen stock pot or container with the chilled alcoholalcohol until the flowers are submerged
- Place mixture in freezerfreezer for 1 hour
- Stir very lightly the mixture with the wooden stick. don’t smash the flowers
- Strain with a 73 micron bag into the second stock pot or bucket
- Repeat the rinse process with new alcoholalcohol and washed flowers one more time
- Pour the liquid into the rice cooker and boil off the alcoholalcohol. This step must be done outdoors to avoid inhalation of alcoholalcohol fumes. Continue boiling until all of the alcoholalcohol has evaporated. THC is heat activated. For THC acid (tetrahydrocannabolic) to be converted to THC it needs to be heated to 212F degrees (100 C). for 75 minutes. At no time should the temperaturetemperature of the oil exceed 290F degrees (140 C).

- Store in a cool, dark place. it gets really hard when the temperature drops. run warm water over it’s container or place it in the sun to turn it back into liquid.
