Adding Humic products will help raise the PH. As will dechlorinated tap water (not RO filtered). Several PH up products out there that won't harm your beneficial microorganisms: Earth Juice..Safer Brand..Nectar for the Gods all good products. BTW FF is a synthetic/organic blend of nutrients..in case you thought you were 100% organic.

If I pick up the earth juice natural up will this affect the taste in the final product ? Ive been using tons of gh ph up and am a bit worried I may be hurting the plants

yes flushing properly is the key. Baking Soda?..take your chances..I've never used it but heard it can burn plants.

The salt content in fox farm base nutrients are hurting the taste more then anything, ph-up is just potassium hydroxide....I'm not really sure why beginners are so attracted to fox farm nutrients, they are soooo salty....you should be more focused on routine flushes throughout the grow if your concerned about your plants....ph up is the least of worries when using tiger bloom and grow big....IM NOT KNOCKING YOUR GROW, IM JUST TELLING YOU THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR NUTRIENTS....IVE USED THEM BEFORE....

I also, but my ph out of the spiggot is 7.8-7.9 so the little I use, seems to work ok although I have heard for large swings not the first choice

Also protekt silica is a great ph up and is good for your plants.....its powerful and will slap a 4.5 tiger bloom right up to 6.5 with only a ml or 2.....if you want something natural and fast acting what I use is woodash....great stuff and also good for blooming plants..

You can make woodash yourself and it has a ton of great nutrients for plants...it will also up ph very fast...here is a chart of nutrients in woodash...the npk ratio is 0-1-3.....
Table 1. Range in elemental composition of industrial
wood ash samples
Element Wood Ash*
Macroelements Concentration in %
Calcium 15 (2.5-33)
Potassium 2.6 (0.1-13)

Couple ways, many ways, actually. Dolomite lime will do it for you. Baking soda will do it for you. I haven't tested wood ashes in a water column, but I know they raise pH (rather significantly) in soil profiles and so care must be taken. Crushed coral can do it for you.

What do all these compounds have in common? Carbonates and bicarbonates. Tap water (from a water municipality, not necessarily well water) is high in carbonates because the munis add them in to preserve transmission pipes.

I mix it in with my base mix as an amendment ....the PH can vary depending on the type of wood, micro nutrients will vary also... I use willow bark ash along with fresh growing tips of the branches. Let everything dry out real good and toss a metal tray on the ground with leaves and the wood pieces on top..... Don't use lighter fluid to start the fire, it will leave byproduct in your finished ash...... Willow has natural growth hormone in the growing tips and really blows roots out...... I also top dress during transition...... When making your base mix just use lime to balance you PH and let it sit for a while........ Check before using...

If your PH is low during the grow take a gallon of water and a cup of ash along with some yucca as a wetting agent...... Shake, check PH of the mix,,,,,, check PH of your pots,,,,, and pour what you think will help it........ If your pots runoff is low in PH and ppm than you won't need much.......if your ppm runoff is high, flush that salt out and check PH again..... If your runoff ppm is now good now is when you fix the PH........ Don't try to fix PH on a salt buildup plant, the salt needs to be flushed first.....

Did you know that lye is made by soaking hardwood ash in water?
