Yes I notice when the ph is rising faster than 3 tenths of a point in 24 hours they need higher ppm.if the ph stays leveled off things are perfect. He was saying his 750de was covering 4x8 and his de HPS uses less nutes than led. I recently setup an all cmh 630 room, lights are on approximately 4’ centers. Under 1k gavita I start about 900 and taper down to 600(1.2ec) as flower progresses. With the cmh I started out at the usual 900ppm in fresh coco. Initially my runoff was coming out at 700 or so so I kept it up. Got busy didn’t check runoff for awhile.... By the 3rd week runoff was coming out at 1500 so I’ve been pissing them hard with 5-700,got it back down under 1k. But now at 5 weeks it seems like they only want 500 or less showing slight toxicities. Mostly N tox actually. Been reading lots trying to figure it out and found guys saying cmh does use less nutes, running 500ppm or less. And now you confirm it as well, just got me thinking. Is the ph coming out any different under the different lights @heisenbubble ? That would indicate different mineral uptake
Solid info;)Yes I notice when the ph is rising faster than 3 tenths of a point in 24 hours they need higher ppm.if the ph stays leveled off things are perfect.
If ph is rapidly falling it's either root issues or bad bacteria in the water.my ph never falls unless theres an issue I can pick up right away to fix
By my observations it seems a cal or a mag problem and it's kind of hard to explain because the problem goes away after a week in flower. At 4x8 for a 750, you are stretching that footprint quite a lot, I think gavita recommends 4x3 or something like that. So it likely is the intensity driving nutrient assimilation, my corner plants always look slightly overfed too( less cross lighting). What led are you using? Do u k ow what the kelvin rating is for it? I’m just curious. And which nutrients do you find it uses more or less of under the led?
My veg feeds under HIDs are in the 350-400 ppm range (.7-.8 ec). Flower feeds 450-500 ppm (.9-1.0 ec) for the 750 DE. RO water and coir. I'm already up to 600 ppms on the led side in veg.At 4x8 for a 750, you are stretching that footprint quite a lot, I think gavita recommends 4x3 or something like that. Yeah i was getting kind of the same thing under the COBS and noticed they needed higher PPM in flower than ever before on my last run.You really have to dial your PPM into the light intensity and your plants are telling you what there missing or getting to much of.And here are their sisters under MH.View attachment 799487
the next pics are, the one on the right is flowering under Leds, the middle is a veg led plant and the right is a veg MH.

I use post its and write down the PPM in the system every 24 hours. If PPM drops drastically i raise it in the top off res.Its a constant balancing act i have to monitor and adjust but i have a system thats technical as fuck but once i got it established i can do it in my sleep. After a few days i can get the top off res and system in sync with each other and get my target PPM.I never have any issues whatsoever with my systems and its always just big ass growth and no issues.
Square wave ballast.i think it's different than other digital ballast.[QUOTE="heisenbubble
Do these cmh lights run off digital balasts or can you get a magnetic balast for them?
Don't need the cable company back at my house again! Lol...fuck
Square wave ballast.i think it's different than other digital ballast.
I post through mine every day.Yeah i looked into it...was tryi g post through a vpn and it wouldn't allow me to type...wtf? Why wont the site let you post through one?
Hell naw man, every time I tried to use it it fried my plants.nothing but problems after problems using zone,h202,pool shock you name It i tried it.@heisenbubble those roots were amazing! you using h202?

Hydroguard was the only thing that worked.now i never have a problem whatsoever
Its bacillus bacteria.it has an expectation date.Glad I still got my big unopened boy of hydroguard in my garage lol!!!!
