Hey guys

I'm running a 600w hps in a 1.4m x 1.4m tent.

What I'm wondering is would if be cheaper to run a hps 600

Or

Invest in a lumatek 600 Pro and run a oil heater.

Does anyone have any experiences switching around.

Only wondering because of the rising electric costs in the uk

Cant wait to hear the feedback.

Hi, I live in Canada and I need heat 9 months of the year. For 20+ years I 've run a 1000w hps in an open room and IIn the winter months it would maintain 78f lights on but humidity nis a problem so I need a good humidifier running 24/7 to maintain 60% if I'm lucky it can get down to 20% without adding moisture. This past winter I tried going with a SE3000 but I couldn't get it to 72f I enclosed the room more 73f.....I added a 1500w heater to get it to 77f .....after about a month I got the idea of a 175W heat lamp on a dinner instead of the 1500w and It has the space now 77-78f . I have it timed with the lights on, off temps are the house temps 67-68f

I use the same heat in my veg space

I also have a tent where I did the same thing but used a 50 w ceramic reptile light....also timed with lights on and with the driver in the tent and the 50w it brings me up to 8-f lights on.
