Htg Supply Mod To Hydrofarm Connector

so i'm doing an evil thing to an old HTG supply 400 w ballast, converting it to use hydrofarm connector to lamp cord, since it was hard wired to socket previously. My only problem is the black plastic grommet / connector (pass thru) for the lamp cord side was destroyed removing old wire. I cant find a ko connector or grommet to fit it, the knockout on the ballast case is the regular oval-looking cut out, but regular 3/8" ko connectors wont fit it. any help appreciated

some auto parts stores, lowes or home depot will surely have that. or a car audio shop for a grommet.

so frustrating. its a step smaller than 1/2". went through home depot and another hardware store, nothing fits

Orchard supply has those in all sizes,i actually just bought a pack of because I needed a couple for cords.

fixed. took some man love. very odd size knock out, but its 1/2" now.

have another 400 thats so loud gotta be on its death bed. transformer looks awful, some white discoloring and charred. old hydrofarm box this time.

will a replacement ballast kit fit the bolt pattern in the case? i notice there are 3 unused studs. looks like they will fit a 2-bracket replacement transformer, but i have no idea or reference.

tossed the buzzy ballast, just gonna give the case to a bud. all good. got a ignitor out of it.
