@sixstring do you run your seedlings and pre veg ( I consider pre veg up to about ) 1 ft tall . Cause mine seemed to hate anything below 60% grown more mature stuff a low rh as the humidity here is ridiculously low unless it rains . Normal sits in low to high teens .
my veg area runs around 20 to 30 % in summer and little lower in winter.but i do all my cuts in there and i dont use domes for them.just snip and stick em in promix or coco and keep the soil moist.usually root in 7 to 10 days some stuff might go faster once in a while
theres def benifits to running higher r/h like faster growth in veg but i just dont need speed from my veg machine,it keeps up fine for my flower pad.in flower high r/h just makes my buds prone to bud rot and pm and i had to work way to hard to reach 60% rh i just said fuck it years ago.i like how sticky my plants get growing in these conditions and my yield is plenty high so i wont ever try to force higher rh just to make more coin.a guy i look up to as a grower once told me high rh makes bigger buds because the plant has more leaf and water, but all that gets trimmed off or dries out during the trim and cure.but resin is worth its weight in gold and does not dry up and disappear during those processes.and in a dry enviro the plant will make more resins to protect itself.

A good grower would have advised to run high RH during first few weeks of flower to get a bigger plant, then taper down your RH starting week 7 to get "valuable weight in gold" resin.

If people are fine with growing little one foot plants, then more power to them. But if they want to step up their game and maximaze potential plus the time and money they spend on growing, then all the best on these forums and other forums will tell them to run proper VPD
