I grow in a spare bedroom and use the closet for drying and curing. Trying to control humidity in the closet is difficult due to constant fluctuations in outside humidity. I don't have and available outlet or room to put a dehumidifier. Does anyone have experience with Damprid, Vacplus, or similar products?

I’m assuming your r/h is too high. Those products do work, make sure there is no fragrance in whatever you use. Calcium Chloride is what you want if you can’t use a dehumidifier.

People have been growing weed for thousands of years with out problems

Mother Plant Issues: If the mother plant is prone to mildew or disease, the clones will inherit that same susceptibility.
External Sources: Clones acquired from outside sources may bring in mold or pests, whereas seeds are typically "clean" and free of these initial issues.

Is why I don't grow fashion weed

Aaaannnnnd, what does any of your responses have to do with my question?
Nothing, he likes to see his own posts. Tells you to clone and that growing is easy, then shows a plant (probably his) with bud rot. How freaking helpful!

Here is where it becomes anything other than helpful. Kid is right , when you grow from seed it is less likely to pass on unfavorable traits vs clone.
But is your question genetics or environmental?
Maybe the problem is something else ?

In the winter it is more likely to need humidity
Dry and cure you might need a little for slow dry
Flowering more likely you will need less

In a tent you can run a power strip for exhaust humidifier to include light and fan
