Hydroponics Brown/Black stuff on roots

3rd attempt at Hydro. Going MUCH better this time. Currently on week 4 for the bigger plant and week 3 for the smaller one.

Was going well until the smaller plant is starting to get some spots on leaves. Also noticed black stuff on the roots.

I'm using Monkey Juice by Cronk Nutrients, which is Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus licheniformis bacteria.

I assume I got some sort of contamination. How do I fix?

black stuff is probably your bacteria stuff.and the leafs could be ph issue i get it often in the beggining plant usually grows out of it.why does it happen no idea....

its more of a ph goes up goes down that happens.the changes make that.
