i ain't no carpenter, need advice on a frame

i ain't sure if i feel so retarded because they actually sell exactly what i wanted to build for so cheap or if it's because after all the googling and internet searching i just couldn't find it.

this is exactly what i was picturing in my mind and just couldn't spit it out

i was planning on building it out of wood of almost exactly the same dimensions. only taller,

if pvc was a little stronger....
