I want to ask how this can be done, why it has so many fan blades and will it affect the harvest?

Check for russet mites.

You don't say much about it. Is it in the ground? A Pot? Food? Water? Temps? Indoor or out? type of soil?

Off the top of my head, the reason is one or all of these: Heat, Overwatering, or Over Feeding.

Fix it by flushing the plant.
Put it in a bathtub or on the ground outside and gently run the water on it. Flood it and let the water wash the nutrient salts out.

Flushing the plant will also help if it was over watered. Just let it drain and dry for about a week before you water again. Don't water until the pot it's in is very light.

Make sure your temperatures are no higher than 85f.
