Imo your best option for a 5x5 would be to build your own light using 6x qb288 at 80 to 100w per board.600w of quantum boards in a 5x5 would crush.can always just buy the new v2 hlg550 either way is cheaper than those other options you are looking at.

Thank you very much for looking out Sixstring! I've been reading up on here about everyone's builds, even been watching hours of YouTube of people building they're own, not sure what route I'll go but I greatly appreciate the advice!

I like the 9 132 combination for cost if your going to diy. After building mine I have helped a bunch of friends get up and going and these things kill it

Not enough diodes imo. My way gives you 540 more diodes in the grow space :happy:

Of course any build will out do a prebuilt setup. It's like building a computer over buying an Asus or something. I personally have had great success with my lights. I'm sure one day I'll diy
