Trimmed and Harvested My Granddaddy Purple After a 14 day dry. In pretty much perfect conditions..Somehow. I Jarred before the Snap test thing would start to work tho, I waited till the stems right at the buds would "give" and I trimmed and jarred..I kept quite a bit to "test" and having passed the "grinder test" It was time to taste her!
I cant explain it and maybe I am not sure what is meant by "Harshness" But right now it smells wonderful! with very little grass taste or smell if any. It taste better than anything I have smoked before! and its not really harsh at all!..... Never the less I will let the rest of it carefully cure in the Jars and keep an eye and nose on it. (if it smells this good now I can't wait for a month!!!)
I ended up with 13OZ from one GDP plant in a 3x3 tent!! that included a Bakers dozen of "nice Fatty Buds"! Cant believe it myself and took it all out to weigh again lol.
Tomorrow, I will crack open some Orange creampops from Humbolt and start anew..I am Hoping to cram 4 plants in a 3x3 (I don't plan on "Vegging" these as long as I did the GDP), heck I vegged it for 11 weeks! and It took 86 Days in Flower!
The Creampops probably-In 5 maybe 6 weeks I will "Flip" them to Flower.
With the great folks on this site and a few good YouTubers out there, I actually Did this!! and I am a firm believer that anyone that wants to seriously Grow indoors will have no problem at all if you read the advice here, and find a "favorite" Youtube grower to watch.
Dive in and get started!! You too can Have that "Christmas Morning" feel of "jarring" and enjoying your Harvest!!!
