i cant come to a conclusion

the seeds popped out, i helped them by eliminating the seed shell very carefully, but i started noticing that the cotyledons are turning pale and light green yellowish, ive never seen that and i cant figure out what it is, any suggestion is appreciated thx

put them in soil 7-8 days ago

since planted i gave a max of 100 to 150 ml of water or near a small cup of water

11l pot

light: viparspectra p1000 about 50% light intensity and 50 to 60 cm from plant

soil doesent look and feel wet, but barely humid

as you can see this plant looks a bit wierd :/

Looks like you just peeled away the seed casing a little soon. Give it some time, if the cotyledons don’t turn green and open you may have a dud.

i peeled the shell because the seeds were 2 yrs old, and the shell was very dry, a was just paranoied that it wold not do it by itself, btw i did see 1 very very small insect in the dirt but i cant tell what it was

That's why I always soak my seeds till they pop. Tiny black bug? Probably a fungus gnat.

Make sure you use a spray battle to wet inside the shell casing before you remove it, Sometimes you can leave membrane on the new leaves if you don't. Like @Greenjourneyman said give them some time, I would be using a spray bottle on that one twice a day lights on/off till it pulls out of it. Just normal tap water.

Or even put a little clear cup over it to make a mini greenhouse, that's that I do for the first few days. That will also filter the light a bit. I poke a few holes w a tac for a bit of airflow.

also helpful to keep some canning jars full of potting/ starting mix which you ran through the pressure cooker. Knocks out a lot of stuff that could cause problems in this stage.

Looks like too much light, and the blacknis making it hotter. Try putting a clear cup over it. Soil is very chunky and looks dense, what is it? Do you have anything in it for aeration? I don't seeperlite... is it a hot soil, like manure or added nutrients? Could just be a dud, that can happen even if you do everything right.

this was the same soil i used 2 yrs ago for the same seeds, and didt have any problem, soil is peatmoss and compost, ph of 6.5 but the soil was old, maybe that?, ill dim the light to minimum, ive just transplanted in biobizz allmix, the root was about 5-6 cm long but looked fuzzy, i didnt add anything in soil, didnt see lavas or insects, i put it in a plastic cup with vents holes on bottom and around, so it even seats lower from the light

also i started germinating other seeds like lsd, critical and do si dos, all mix is a bit on the hot side but you think its allright?

Hard to say, if you've grown seedlings in it before it may be OK. Compost is generally pretty hot, depending on how well aged it is.

whats in compost? Unknown's , and maybe burning nutrients in the mix. Bacteria/ virus? At this point a sterile media would eliminate a lot of unknowns. It would take a University Ag lab to figure out the cause. If the plant rebounds then good, if not don't spend too much time on it. Looks like a budget potting mix, lots of wood. Try buying one bag of really good stuff and save it for seed starting, then transplant into this stuff when the plant is stronger. You can take the nice stuff like Ocean Farms and cut it with perlite and vermiculite by a good one third. Keep it simple, try to eliminate problems before they hatch and don't over think it. Every seed will not make it. Often my plants get close to death because I'm gone for too long and they dry up. Looking really bad, but they come back, lots of leaves are lost. But they rebound, once they get going they are pretty tough.

ive bought biobizz allmix

never tried it, looked it up, it says ' heavily pre-fertilized substrate mixture emulates a rich outdoor soil with a full micro active ecosystem. It's been designed to have enough nutrient-fuelled power to sustain lush growth for a couple of weeks, without any need to add any extra fertilizer.' Sounds good for vegging, but maybe too strong for seed starting. Sounds similar to Ocean Forrest stuff. Sometimes you can get good deals on off season. I bought big bags on amazon for $22 shipping included in the fall one year. Shipping has got to be outrageous on sacks of heavy stuff.
