I cloned a plant in bud

I recently revegged a cutting with a bud that was 9.5 weeks flowered and now an 11 week little bud has rooted and grown its first reveg leaves.

I just put the cutting in a glass of water until i see root bumps and small roots forming then plant in soil and treat like a clone in the clone dome until it grows some more leaves and seems strong.


Heres the pics from the first growth til tonight. It is a slow process. She went 2 weeks in the glass of water and another month in the cup of soil before she grew those little confused leaves. Then 4 weeks veg and was put in the flower room a couple days ago.

Yes. Plants will revert between flowering and vegging depending on the photoperiod... unless it is anAuto strain, then you have limited options. FWIW, it is generally much more difficult to get successful clones when attempted during flowering. Not impossible, just harder. Once they have roots, they can go to either flowering or vegging.

I heard you have to keep them in 24 hour light period for a while so that they will revert to veg.

MMG, you're miles above my pay grade when it comes to growing thc but I am curious. Did you leave, or are you going to leave the bud on the clone until harvest? If so and you have pix, I'd love to see them.

I picked that off the stem before i put her in flower. Those are most all the pics i posted above.

Unless its auto, you can always re veg. Treat it like a normal clone. 18/6 is fine.
