I'm growing these Moon Fog photos I got from Humboldt Seed Company in coco using Advanced Nutrients' recipe, except I only give base nutrients at half strength because when I add base nutrients at full strength, within two days the tips started to burn, so I backed off. I fertigate three times daily with nutrient water pH'd to 6.0 and make sure I get good runoff. They're growing in 5-gallon pots. I just switched her to flower one week ago, and I did a flush before switching to flower nutrients. Overall, the plant looks healthy but a few leaves look a little bad; it looks like some sort of deficiency, but I'm not quite sure. I've looked at a bunch of charts but still am not really sure. I was kind of thinking nitrogen deficiency, but that's just a guess.

How close is your grow light to the canopy? Is this only happening to leaves near the canopy? Also what have been your max air temp at canopy? Looks like some leaves have heat stress, you can see some of the edges curling up. Makes me think the discoloration and slight burning is actually caused by too much light. A nitrogen deficiency would start with bottom leaves and progress upwards.

Edit: Also check the leaves thoroughly for pests, just in case. Almost certain this is not the issue, but better safe than sorry.

Is it straight coco? Do you have any mag or cal lock potentially happening due to substrate?

All in all they look great and nothing to sweat. 😓
You may want to throw the nute lock out there to other here as a potential issue.

The burn you’re talking about from nutes being too strong is common. The fertilizer companies want you to buy from them and them alone. So if not a snake you purchased it’s probably recommended on the strong side. Customer gets big results they keep coming back.

This is just a personal experience and I’m not feeding the same exact things as you. But the fact of mild nute burn statement makes me think you’re probably ok. ……that said…..
Depending on the watering situation and fabric or air pots you can go higher than the half strength mark.
Personally I usually water thoroughly sometime shortly after a feeding. If rather have nutes in the soil and slowly wash them down.
Basically I’m priming my soil with nutes and water. The plant takes them up but pot starts to dry out with temps and airflow pretty quick. This gets the salts high and also slows growth a bit. Less water for cell division and nutrient dilution.
Regular watering with feeds in between have given me the best results for rapid growth.

Good luck!
