Hey... all who'd like to help this man out... should take a look at the stuff this guy makes... here .. some of the coolest herb smoking apparatus / paraphernalia... some heavy metal stuff... literally.... Most creative stuff I've ever seen in a while...
Stuff

For those so inclined.. maybe offer to buy his work... then he could buy himself the equipment he needs to start over... no excuses for not starting over... and he likes making this stuff... Just a thought

OP - in about 3 weeks here ill be able to donate you a 300w full spectrum led grow light. with the driver still attached, it keeps my tent @ around the upper 70's temp wise once you push it past 50-60% on the dial. I plan on switching to all bar style lights here soon and will have no use for it. i'd much rather donate it to a grower in need rather than selling it on marketplace. I also have some feminized autoflower seeds if you want. (GDP Auto beans.) and if you need nutrients, ive recently switched to organic so I got the fox farm trio bottles that are almost full that I no longer need.

don't give up!

shoot me a PM, If its not stupid expensive to mail it all to you, it will be my pleasure. if not, we can always meet up? I am about 1 hour away from Roger.

edit - if i've broken any sort of forum rules here, I do apologize.

Hey CMOT....

Rule #1 in growing.....keep growing

Rule #2 in growing.....learn from every grow

Rule #3 in growing.....refer to Rule #1

My grow environment is pretty sketchy at best....🤓

All it takes is a nice lil t5/t8 setup.......might not be the best, but it's a start....

now to be fair here , i cant make most of this stuff to sell ... id be embarrassed to say how much i spent on the tools to make that spider , not to mention the tool steel i made it from and aluminum for vice jaws . and many many hours . 99% of the time when i make these its for a gift .

Out of curiosity, what make CNC mill do you have. You obviously have a lathe too.

I've just recently retired from being a machinist.
If needed, could you do custom work with me providing the blueprints? Anything I would want would be made out of aluminium, so that should prolong the tool life of your tooling.

Also, I'd be happy to supply you with some seeds. Indica, or sativa, whichever you want.
I have a good sized list for you to choose from.

i have a baby tormach pcnc440 10''x 10''z 6''y , i do have a small 10'' grizzly manual lathe but to be honest it rarely gets used . i can be rather inventive when it comes to making round things on a mill .

just a hobby guy so i do have limitations on the things i can do .. for example my inspection dept consists of a dubious dial caliper and a set of 1''-3'' micrometers an assortment of hammers and a box for scrapped parts .

Cmot... Nice Tormach... tell me the story on how you got a hold of that one....

oh i sure do wish i had a good story to tell , i have a small manual mill .. no dro and one day i was scratching my head trying to do math to get nice chamfers and i said to myself .. dang this is stupid , i suck at maths .
was still working and had just got my tax refund so a phone call later .....

you have all the equipment.it would be more expensive not to try it again.next time post some photos here and we can sex them for you

Alright, well your mill is certainly large enough for anything I'd want made, and your Q.C. dept' is more than qualified too.

How about some seeds? Would you like some?

i would , understand though i am very hesitant to accept something im not 100% sure ill be able to make use of .
i keep tossing the outdoor grow idea around in my head , even with some effort at screening things from public view its still fairly obvious a grow is going on .
what makes me nervous isn't some nefarious sort coming and ripping the grow off its that same person thinking to themselves .. hey im here , what else can i steal while I'm at it .

indoor growing at a minimum will be a wait till spring when i can afford to run lighting again

Well, I would still like to send you some and help you out.
If you can't start a grow until next year, that's up to you. Shoot me your address in a p.m., and I'll get some out to you.

I too used to make round work on my mill. It's a piece of piss to do. I could run lathe, but I was a mill man my whole career.
They say that, "You can make a lathe with a mill, but you can't make a mill with a lathe". True, that!

true.

I prefer T5’s I tried t8’s but they seem to make your plants stretch more than the 5’s

Ok Rooke.....you put me on the spot....cause I've only read about t8s....I've only used the t5s.....not too bad for what they are.....

I've never looked into it, but it could be a HPS/MH type of thing.....

I’m sorry to didn’t mean to be rude just wanted to share what i found when I ran them side by side on my seedlings this year I like them for the internode spacing and how close you can run them without leaf burn small good bro much love brother

Waiting is not all bad. I'm an outdoor grower and use the winter months to explore different growing techniques and supplies that others have used. Also, I love to research on the internet and have learned a lot. Not that I'm great at the plants, but it helps me get ready by shopping the sales, picking which seeds to buy, grearing up for battling the inevitable pests and diseases.
I would say improves patience, but in my case, I still jump the gun and plant too early then regret it later. LOL
