Thank you, you guys are all great! I just purchased a wood moisture tester. I tested a rather large bud, and it came in reading low moisture on meter at 11.2. Would this level be safe to jar up? Or do you look for lower than 10?
JAR! I usually jar at 12-13% on my meter

Start with 3 burps a day then after 3-4 days drop to 2 for a week then you should be stable for maybe twice weekly burping for 2 weeks or so then once a week till they feel and smoke right for you, once I hit that point I’ll usually just burp once a week or 2 depending if I feel they need it or not, I usually lose the hay smell around week 2ish and the heavy terps come back

My storage room / bedroom averages about 72-74f and I keep them in a tote under my bed on the carpeted concrete floor

Some bud over 2 years old and smokes great still my GP x okie smells like the day I jarred her up, straight orange airheads, gettin sad she’s almost gone lol

Bringing moisture back won't do much but make them temporarily moist.

There's processes that takes place during a slow dry that csbtbe resumed once too dry.
Yeah if I overdry I just smoke that bud first I personally never re-introduce moisture in curing / after dry, I know a ton do I just don’t like to I’d rather just mix the over day bud 50/50 with bud that is at a normal cure RH for joints or just straight bowls of the overdry

I buy the 10 packs of hygrometers small enough to fit in jars for about 20 bucks and set them all out together and wait a few minutes. Usually most will be within 1 or 2 points with 2 or 3 way out of wack. I just throw the bad ones away and use the ones that agree with each other.
If I use them at all then yea I use the mini hydrometers off Amazon but I haven’t even used those in a Year, I just go by feel

Here’s the ones I use just the cheapest you can get in the largest packs, they last about a year-year and a half till the battery dies you can replace the batteries but it’s just cheaper to replace the whole units

@Captspaulding made a project out of his and cut rectangles to fit them in the tops of his jars then sealed with putty? Maybe JB weld? So the meter is showing through the top of the lid, cool shit!

They are all jarred! Hurrah. Didn't quite get to 12 but close. I have been opening and closing the jars for 3 days now 3 times a day. I am going to go on Amazon right now and order some Pgzsy. Appreciate.

On the right wavelength now, plenty more plants for harvest. Drying and curing isn't that easy. However, I feel I have some tools to master that craft. Gentleman you are a pleasure. I started growing just by learning from this site! The best.

Just an update, purchased a wood moisture meter, found to be extremely helpful, those large nugs are not dry when you think. Hygrometer is a nice tool to have on hand. Found that useful. Snap test. With all three leading me to victory. Four including you gents. No hay, nice nugs, sweet aroma, sleeping as we speak. 10 different strains this year. Let me shake those hands guys you are my life saver.

Gotta be careful with those chunky buds, when the outside feels near dry the best option is to bag them or tote them for 2-3 days still burping to let that moisture redistribute then I usually am right on point to jar up

Don't be shy of using a brown paper bag for the big buds. 12hrs in the bag should do it. Just don't think sticky when you squeeze bud means wet!

I came across a thread earlier today that had some pics of drying in bags hanging! Looked awesome. I think they were drying. I dont fully remember the convo so it could have been curing. BAGS non the less : )
