I did a simple set up of a airpump and bucket but I would like to get something that was made to brew....sick of the clogged stones.

Is the Vortex the way to go or are there cheaper ones that are the same quality....

Looking for about 20gal biut that brew just 5 gallons when the need be.

thanks

It seems that my airstones for my 5 gallon brewer didn't last long at all. I cleaned them well every time but They just are not letting much air through any more. I ended up taking the lines and plugged them up then cut some holes with a razor blade and put them at opposite ends of the bucket. Way more air this way for me. Not sure if I'm missing out on the smaller size of a bubble that the airstone creates, but I think it's working fine and there is more oxygen in my bucket than before.

Anyhow to answer your question there is this cheap 50 gallon brewer that is commercially available or I think you can get it directly from the guy who builds it on his website http://www.microbeorganics.com/#Tea_brewer50 where there is also a lot of good info about microbes, teas, brewers, and brewing. Probably the cheapest out there. He also has a good section on that site on how to build different types of blowers http://www.microbeorganics.com/#So_You_Wanna_Build_A_Compost_Tea_Brewer
