hey everyone and thank you in advance for all of the help !
I have 2 spiderfarmer se3000 that I’m putting in my 3x3 but need help mounting 4 of the bar lights to the frame… I don’t want to use Velcro obviously but the light dont Weigh much at all and cant imagine them getting super hot cause they are only 300 watts a piece and driver is detachable
I need help mounting lights
I need help mounting lights 2

Hey man,
Not sure what to say. I’m new to led. But I have a question, is that too much light for a 3x3? I’m sure someone will chime in and guide you

I have a HLG600 in my 3x3 right now I’ve never put it past 80% And everything has been fine. I love HLG I just want more light coverage And the detachable drivers are a plus

Oh okay for sure. Idk why I thought I read 3 se3000. I just got the spider farmer G300 but haven’t opened it up yet. How were they attached to the frame originally or did it all come in pieces?

they Came in pieces but really easy to put together just snap the lights into then brackets and hook them up

How do the brackets attach to the frame?
Do the brackets your taking off one frame not have a spot to attach to the second frame? Will zip ties work?

I had to remove some brackets to get the 2 frames to line up together so I can fit them in the 3x3 i guess I could drill more holes into the frame and replace the brackets but I don’t want to I figure 3m mounting tape might work

There ya go, that’ll work. Do you think the heat might loosen up the adhesive?

Yeah i thought it would so I drilled thru the frame
I had 1 SE3000 in the 3x3 then I got a 5x5 after I bought a second SE3000, I didn't think there was room for 2 in the 3x3 tent, I also picked up an SF600 for the front of the tent seeing as I had room but its really just supplemental as there's only 35,000 lux off the light.

There was another guy here that also modified his 2 Se3000 to fit in the 3x3 and I think he added another light as well. I look back see if I can get that link
