I plan to spray one of my bud sites with colloidal silver to produce feminized seeds. So far, only one of my plants seems to be sprouting purple leaves. I'd like very much to have seeds of that specific phenotype. So if I were to spray that plant with colloidal silver, is there a guarantee or even a higher chance that it will produce seeds from its own phenotypical genetics? Or will it just give me a mish mash of seeds from every other phenotype of that plant under the sun?

I think you mean , you want to spray your silver prior to you plant flowering on said branch .
As once it’s started I would think you will have a difficult time blocking the hormones already activated.
Just an opinion. No seed scientist .

Yes timing and multiple applications are typically needed. If you are spraying on buds, you waited too long. Got to start before the flip.

If so, clone it and reveg then try again.

I was just about to make a thread on cloning lol. Thanks for bringing it up :)

So question, my plants are about 2 weeks into flowering, there are multiple bud sites developing not just on the main colas, but adjacent stems underneath where the main colas are. Can I take one of these 'lesser bud' branches and use it as a clone? Or do I need to find a branch without any bud sites forming on it to clip off to use as a clone?

This purple leave plant IS the plant I want to grow from here on out, I don't care about anything else!! I want this plant, the whole plant, and nothing but this plant, it's very special to me. How long do I have to take clones? Is there a time limit?

You won't know till you do it, I have successfully cloned at 2 weeks into flower

Yes, take several clones now and see if you can get one that is happy to veg. If not, they will look a little weird for a while, but they will go back to veg and then you can make your seeds.

I'm not even sure if I want to make seeds at the moment.. I'm too fascinated by this cloning technique. I think I have the seed companies prized phenotype in my possession right now. I'll eventually make seeds, I think. But for right now I want to grow hundreds, no, THOUSANDS of these purple leaf beauties! They look so beautiful, I can't wait to show you guys!!!
