no need to be sorry. I already have been watching. in a way I kind of want that for the seeds. in another way I don't. I had one a while back that did the same thing and nothing happened, as far as seeds go. I am just wondering as to why I have had this happen to 2 plants in the last 6 months. what did you think of the top nugs?

Rhe main cuz of herms in regard to human error is photo period interruption. A lot of genetics are prone to it tho

The top looks good from what I see. Any light leaks?
Is that the only place you've spotted ? Seeds on her won't be any good, but if she pollenated anything else they should be Fems.in all aspects.

I've wondered about the distinction of self-fert vs. fertilizing another fem. Does the latter offer as many opportunities for good offspring, or are the genetics compromised by being fertilized by a herm?

No photo period is not interrupted at all. on my first one that did nothing. that was as i credit to my drunken state of leaving the door open two days and letting the veg light go in day and night. but sence then I maintain light discipline that one was like it stared to revers the herming after I became very annal about it. which is needed!

I think Dj's Blueberry and Flo both have Hermie tendencies from what I've read .something to do with their parent.

When breeders do a fem run I think they collect pollen from mom who was forced I.e Silver N or stressed to produce male sacs and pollenate plants from same seed stock.
im thinking it's just to much inbreeding for self pollenation ,that pushes the hermie gene to easily.
But I'm no expert,it's just how I've taken in stuff I've read.

good to know about the lower part of the plant. this is all on a lower part of the plant, lower light. up top it is looking titts! I wish I could smoke this shit. stupid job!!!!

I don't know how to that hole what the other person said

but what str8smokn said makes sence there like any other living being inbreading is never good.

what I was wanting the last time was a plant that I did not what it was that I called jew dawg and my white widow cross. and nothing is what I got even after I had them in the same room with the fans going and pollinating my self.

how ling does it take for a seed to grow?

I wanted to try a little breeding with a couple strains that have become standards for me (unheard-of anywhere else). This would be a great way to go, since all I have are fems. I can always make an extra clone for forcing. I'l look into it. Thanks!

A plant that's been pollenated will take anywhere around five weeks to seven maybe depending on strain and when the female was dusted..

They say Fems aren't the best stock to work with. You need a reg plant seed to be the mom/dad ,then stress to produce male pollen and dust your Fem'd plants with said pollen.
Fem'd stock isn't good for breeding supposedly.
I'm not a breeder though ,so again take my two cents as it is.
There's a thread in the Auto section on Silver nitrate/selfing.

Hope it helps.

When everyone refers to light leaks, they are referring to light in the dark cycle correct? Would a light leak harm a vegging plant?
