I think I have a problem Houston...what can this be?

Pretty much if I see shit going wrong before I try to add a specific nute I usually do the following:

1. Do a soil pH test and check the pH of the soil.
2. Water through with pH 7 water and check runoff pH.

Using that information I decide if the soil is on the acidic side of 6.5 or the basic side of 6.5.

If it is < 6.5:

Water through with 7.5 until the runoff is 6.5 (not all at once, just whenever you water).

If it is > 6.5:

Water through with 5.5 until the runoff is 6.5.

After that I'll water through with 6.5 for a week or so and after that I'll go back to normal.

To avoid this altogether, I usually alternate water pH in each watering.

One watering I'll go 6.8, the next I'll go 6.3. This gives them some natural swing without going overboard. The plants seem to like it.

Another thing to be mindful of is the pH that a particular nute can be taken up best at. If you notice a deficiency in a nute that get taken up better in acidic conditions--keep watering through with 5.5 till you get to 6.0 runoff. Do the reverse for something that needs basic conditions for uptake and water through with 7.5 until you hit 7.0. This will usually correct the imbalance in my experience. In soil most of the stuff you need is already in there if you've planned accordingly--you just need to make it available to the plant.

More often than not people are running soil pH that is just way too acidic. In my opinion optimal pH for a cannabis plant is between 6.5-6.8 in the general case. However you do want to dip down as low as 6.0 sometimes depending on the needs of an individual strain. Just use your head and if you see and issue move the pH to the opposite side of 6.5 that it's currently on and you honestly can't go wrong.

Good luck!

@squiggly is on point! That's what I did & now I'm on an even small rolling plain. Haven't had any issue with ph, cal, mag, or anything else.
