I Think I Messed Up Super Cropping

okay so when should I start super cropping in flowering because I thought if I started right away I could get hermie

Now is the part I warned ya about;)
It's hard to give an actual date or timeline
It's really strain dependent, do you know the strain? How did they grow? Sativa or indica?
There are many different variables young padawan
I've ran things I bent/broke/cropped up 5 - 6 weeks in, real vigorous rangy sativa type plants
I've fucked up fast flowering plants by "cropping" after the second week
This is where experience comes in
Once actual "buds" start forming you should probably leave them alone to be safe
That's 'usually' not until 2-3 weeks after flip(12-12)

You're doing a scrog so you shouldn't have to until during stretch or after it's over. This round my last supercrop was like week 5 or 6, bitches kept reaching for the lights. But I'm limited height as well, so it's a supercrop or watch this plant burn itself kinda situation. Just get em trained under the screen and anything that reaches 1.5 - 2+ inches is basically when I take a branch back to size. what @rubthe nub just said is spot on.

I know my strains I have bc god bud and OG kush also white widdow that one I don't know) but the og and BC both Take 8-9 weeks in flowering I don't know my strains that we'll obv bc I haven't grown before but I have researched a lot on the strains

Don't get overzealous and bend em all. Let them grow up through the screen an inch or two and pull them back under and place the under the screen in the direction you want them to go. Just watch them and you'll know what needs to be trained and what can stay as they grow.

Sorry maybe I should have have been more clear about what I meant by that statement.
I meant how well do you "know" the strain, not do you know what it is.
I've grow a few OG's and they can stretch a good long ways, sometimes double or more in height. Now "your" pheno might not do that but as a general rule OG's like to stretch, but not all stretch (throw that in for the haters out there)
Those are the types of thing you'll learn with experience

Another thing is there are many ways to skin a cat.
@tobh said he likes only a couple inches over the net, where as I like a little more around 6"

Only due to my height constraints atm. Once I'm outta the micro game, it'll be a different story. In terms of height over screen, I find that contingent on space, I was more so meaning in terms of rogue shoots. Get a branch really going for the gold and it's a couple inches taller than the rest, break it's spirit a little and keep the canopy level.

In fact, speaking of scars/knuckles. You can see in this one, I had cropped this one rather harshly and she responded so well she nearly straightened back out with a big ole knot. They're resilient, just be mindful.

I'd just let her be as she is. She'll straighten up by herself. You wouldn't believe what thos plant can take. I've been breaking and cracking branches and stems to keep the canopy even and they always tried to straighten up. Keep her training to get the desirable shape of your canopy.

@showmegreen that is actually a dried plant. It's an autoflower with actual buds on it :) Check my thread "Toasters Seed Popping Micro Adventures" for the shits and giggles :D

Keep it green!
