super duper cheap under a hundred worth a supplies from walmart besides a canner and spores will get you goin big time
for spores either ask friends in the hippie scene like these forums is safest or rich hawk id rec hes been around since 90s
someone said they don't hardly sell prints anymore but that's always the best buy when ya can
ya wanna get prints off the first ones ya succeed with so ya don't gotta keep buyin spore spikes
after the intial costs a jars a canner basically all ya need is a lil cleaning shit and some basics like vermic n wild birdseed
a warmer area to incubate the jars close to 80 and a cooler house in the 60s to fruits ideal
youll get bad ass shrooms at lower temps and a lot less contams n fly problems
after ya got te expensive gear a person can grow a elbow a booms for 7-20 buck easy
that's why hippies call them pennies from heaven
im glad to coach anyone a lil but don't be a greedy cock with what ya learn

Penis Envy is the shit. All the other strains are great...but when you dry a Treasure Coast or B+ there's hardly nothing there. The PE's get FAT fuckin stems that stay FAT and weighty when you dry em. My choice/go to strain after growing about 20 strains.

Started. like many, with cakes. Fun.....but not the way to go if you want quantity. Was cool you could wash/birth em a few times (with a diminishing take each go).... but I soon graduated to tubs and spawning bird seed. FULL tubs rock.

I then tried the pan cynescans on straw and horse shit. 3 attempts to get fruit...but we got er done.

Then my oldest son passed...and I scrapped it all. Been on 500 acid/shroom trips <at least>...most between '73 ad '77.... but now....there's just no way I could do em 'cus...well....shit is far from stable in my head... and...it's a "been there, done that" (too many times) feeling when I do eat em. In the end, I can't even imagine a worse trip than life itself has dealt me... and I'm not about to chance becoming Syd.

hawkseye was my source as well...FWIW.

Oh.....and shrooms ARE legal to grow in New Mexico for personal use. Thank the Indians

cubensis are replacn peyote as the main sacrament of the n8tive american church
much cleaner positive experience and peyotes life cycle is so damn long it is almost becoming extinct
and he n8tive population aint trippin near enough as it is
and the shrooms just as old or older in the elders traditions just peyote over time became the dry land

I personally will pass on peyote or acid nowadays its too damn harsh for the buzz
ya wanna flip the fuck out get a trusted baby sitter n drink some Iboga root tea

I don't need em anymore. There's nothing there I haven't seen. On my last acid trip in '93 we ate 6 hits of some 'cid from the last Dead tour....and it was a rocket ride like no other. I knew then I'd gone as far as I could....safely. Like I said...my head isn't right now....so I know better than to go there. They do nothing for my depression/sadness. Nothing will take this pain away other than death. Anyone who believes otherwise has not been >here<.

Grew the shrooms....and had pounds. Kinda like weed though....didn't have an outlet so was always sitting on bags and bags of the things. Tripped a few times....but enjoyed the grow more than the fruit. I only wish I would have wired it all at 15-20 years of age when I was a trippin fool....rather than at 50. Oh my....

and hey...you need no cooker....at first. Sterility is overrated. Be Clean...but don't go nuts towards that end. Lysol/etc. will make your fruit deformed... so "sterility" only goes so far before it is a problem in itself. (IMO) Always glad to yakk it up if anyone has any questions.

I'm sorry for your pain bro. My dad was my absolute best friend in he died in my arms doing the chicken dance from a speed stroke.
And for about ten years all Ive felt almost was sadness loss pain and anger seems like it made me physically sick to and being so suicidal for so long
in itself on almost killed me but its weird life is amazing and in time all things seem to find a way to thrive no matter how impossible
I still hurt to and think about it everyday but I just think at some point shit cant fuck ya
up any worse if it hasn't killed ya yet
trust me though my family and I have fucked life as it was before up enough

I've ate 2 doses mixed 10 to 1 and not even came close to seeing the shit I have on a half ounce a cubensis too much sid just made me feel really weird as fuck

but I don't recommend any one eat that much it will paralyze ya temporarily very likely lol pass right out a couple hours too


And certainly no one needs a sterile lab or cooker to grow booms. Just sterilizing large amounts a grains is impossible without and brown rice techs and all the cakes n stuff are really expensive and time consuming for the yield imo...
My house is dirty and dusty as fuck and I grow completely food grade booms right in my kitchen fuck steril weirdness
I went nuts for years with sterile labs in petris for booms clonin in shit but its not like herb clones are not needed imo
I blow multi spore ya know there are enough spores on one print to ideally cover all colo with a flush lmfao
and I don't use much of any chems but rubbin alcohol for innocs and some soap n water n bleach when I wash my jars oh and a cig lighter lol
super simple hell I innoc compost in houseplants in animal terrariums with colonized grain sometimes just for fun and they fruit like a mother
fucker about anywhere if healthy
for me contams and shit had a lot to do with strain I found tropical races to be toughest

I have a degree in mycology from middlebury college in Vermont..............love mushrooms period end of story! I used to get Mexican blue caps tat were extremely potent, three syringes of penis envy atm. thinking about trying to produce a 40 gram cap!

Back when this thread started, it motivated me to actually complete a mushroom grow for the first time. I had tried one time a few years ago with the pf tek cakes etc and those fucking suck as far as I'm concerned. Not one of those 5 or so jars colonized which I'm sure is 100% my fault.

This time I inoculated wbs and spawned straight to coir in a small mono tub with 100% success. Currently harvesting the Nepal Chitwan strain right now..ive got a few colonized jars of ecuadors which I'm going to g2g transfer today into some quarts of WBS. Also ordered some oyster lc syringes to play around with

Haven't really read much of this thread but I suggest doin the .pf tek method.I ran two fruiting chambers for a couple years.very easy.just make sure your shits sterile and humidity levels/temps are right in your fruiting chamber and you should be fine.once you get a good handle on the brown rice/vermiculite you can graduate to a more challenging, better yielding substrate. Also,1 open-capped mushroom will give you plenty of spores for the future.check out shroomery.org. that's where I got most of my info.good luck.

I love my wild fl. strain. Been running her since '06 on and off and is the most consistantly stable strain as far as high yields, mid to large fruits, consistant potency between flushes and will give mostly sterile flushes so i collect spores when possible. Once you get an outlet youll make bread! I like to leave room for the middle man so business stays consistant so i do 100-120 azip depending on amount. Get greedy and youll be sitting on your elbows, lol...

So could a basic herb grower newbie create a nice perpetual shroom grow as well or would it take a ton of trial and error to get it right?

Side questions, anyone grow morrell food shrooms w any luck? They are wild and very popular here..
