I tried everything Added Exhaust Fans adding fans etc etc had enough negative pressure to bend the tent lol added forced air into the tent....unfortunately my lights run too hot (led)..only options were a Portable AC directly in the tent and to switch my lights on/off to match the house AC better...for me now I sit at 23° lights on.

Good Evening;

You may want to try using a pair of AC Infinity T-series fans (size appropriate) with digital controller for Humidity & Temp (on Amazon). Set the exhaust outlet above your lights (warmest spot in the room most likely) this will expel the heat; then set the other fan so that the air is blowing into the room/tent, is coming in low (and preferably across the room/tent from the exhaust port.). Here is why i called out a specific brand name; AC Infinity controllers handle TWO fans concurrently; thus your intake and exhaust will always run at the same speed (assuming you use two fans of the same size). Another plus is that you get a controller and a RH/Temp sensor with each fan purchased. So you will automatically have a spare of each. 👍

This arrangement will allow your fans to constantly run at whatever power level is need to keep the room cool (preset RH &Temp). Set up this way the fans may run constantly, but it should be at a greatly reduce fan speed because the air is constantly being changed out. Just as a basic rule of thumb, your fan should change out the total cubic footage of the room about every minute. Accessories like Elbows, ducting, etc. reduce the actual CFM deliver/removed. To keep things simple your fan(s) & associated filter should have a CFM rating at least twice the cubic footage of your grow space.

I also think you will like the infinity fans as they are quiet as can be an they have a 2 or 3 year warranty, with good customer service. win, win, win. 🥂 🍻

Thank you for the advice! I’m hoping this 6” inline fan will exchange the air fast enough to keep the temps down! Obviously without the controller tho. I’ve seen some cheaper Environmental controllers on amazon like ink bird. Is that any good? But I’m hoping this 6” inline fan does the trick.

Which 6 inch did you buy? whatever it is, it should be enough as long as the CFM is high enough 2x4x8=64cf add (1x) for accessories and maybe (2x) for your light and you are at a total for (4x)64=256, so if your 6in is comparable to the T-6@ 408CFM you should have plenty of air and it should not have to run at level 10 the entire time.

Happy Growing 🥂 🍻

A vivosun 6” and is rated for 440CFM but I’m sure that’s just what it’s advertised at so hoping it something over 400. I just looked at the 4” and it’s rated at 195CFM. Hopefully it’s the air exchange.

Yeah my problem wasn't air flow...unfortunately with almost 1800w of actual LED draw I had to go the portable AC route...I was pulling approx 400++cfm from my fans. the ambient temperature of the house is what was killing me ....also this is my last grow in the 8x4 tent. I do agree that the T series is the way to go for fans though....my self im moving to a 24 x 24 medical grow after this.

LEDS are cooler till you pack your tent inch to inch with them 😂🤷‍♂️
