That thing is insane! Any seeds forming? What does it smell like? Fruit? Fuel? Skunk? Let her go till she is done.

Don't think there are any seeds, no male plants anywhere near. Definitely a heavy pot odor, but I don't know enough, or have a good enough nose to make a judgment call on the.. flavor of the smell. If that makes sense. Thanks flu

here are a few other photos I took this AM. My hand is at shoulder height as I hold up the main stem.

Can you get a shot of it at night? The camera flash will reflect off the trichomes giving you a better idea of how frosty it is. Trichomes are so small depending on the plant they can be hard to see in daylight.

Great looking plant overall though for sure!

It doesn’t matter. Hemp has trichomes full of CBD. Break one off, dry it and smoke it….

I followed a guys grow in Nevada, that reminds of a pure Sativa he grew that got even larger. Over his 1 storey house. He harvested near 8 lbs from the 1 plant

A sample won't lie. Just don't get yourself shot that wouldn't be worth it.

I could be wrong but I suspect its hemp, with very low to no thc value, and the more you smoke the bigger headache it will give ya.

Any updates on this? You try it yet? Im hardly a recreational user and know next to nothing about MJ. I found a random plant on our small lot in Minnesota that I’m guessing is hemp based on my online research (I’ve been a googling fiend and learned a lot in the last week and a half). My buds are super fluffy and not dense. Also full of seeds. They kind of smell like weed, but faint and a little fruity. Been drying/curing for about a week. Ordered some RAW paper cones and once they get here I’ll try it.

Looks like a big sativa.

But If someone purposely grew it why there? Makes me wonder.

Or maybe someone tossed seeds out the car window driving by while rolling a doobie.

Plz update us on what you found there.

Weed grew wild all across north Americas until gov began mass spraying it. Jerks.

BTW a male plants doesn't need to be present if the pheno carries male and female DNA. Those are known as hermies. Those self pollinate.

AirHammer, thoughts on mine? Everything I’ve read makes me think this would be sativa if it really is MJ. Anyone else have opinions? I’ve never actually seen ditch weed before. Is this a classic look for it?

Hemp or an ultra low grade of sativa???..I'm not a specialist at this nor very familiar with hemp or how hemp looks in growth. Sativa have the long slender leaves, slender long leaves are the only promising similarities they share that I can see. a good grade of sats don't look sad and pathetic like that, nor do the flowers.

The other pic 2, I can't even get a proper look at it the way everything blends together, sorry

My wild guess and imaginary wager for 1 goes on..drum roll tata ta ta taa hemp!

Anyone else?..step right up....

I'm not a "grower" Hell I'm an occasional user at best. Wife and I reseeded and area of lawn just off back patio of house. With some local high quality "weed" free grass seed. Well this beast must of been in there somewhere. We are in Midwest, and "ditch" weed is a common everyday thing. But I'd never seen it really flower. this plant we just let grow as a joke, well it's frickin huge, and I have no idea if I should just dig it up and toss on the back burn pile, or "harvest" and dry it. The main stem is almost three inches in diameter. I know nothing about growing, or classifying, or identifying the plant. Weed is not legal here, though I've had others tell me since it's not "cultivated" and wild growth that it's not really anything to worry about legally, but talk is cheap when compared to the reality of a cop seeing it. It sure smells like pot, and I can see real terpenes that are forming. Any help/guidance/suggestions are fully welcome.

Wait till it's ready. It's way too early to smoke. I'd give it a month or until the lower leaves turn yellow.

Do the buds have pistils? I can't quite tell in some, but I don't see visible signs of pistils. Typically those are the first visible signs of flowering marijuana. That only become more prominent as blooming stages progress.

That's one indicator that it would not be marijuana.

Generally the over all look doesn't give me confidence.

If it were mj and it was me I wouldn't be messing with it. If it is weed a snooper/s is bound to rile up a lot of attention from protective gorilla farmers. Probably better to just leave them be.

Welp, did first test on mine yesterday. A big strike out. Didn’t feel anything after about 10 puffs. And keep in mind, I barely ever smoke and have a light dose of gummies a couple times a week.

Yes, I would call it wild hemp. A while back, the plant smelled like weed. For the first week or two of drying it still smelled like it. Had my hopes up…Now it smells like hay or something. Actually a smooth smoke though.
