Howdy farmers,

So I'm in a bit of a pickle and any words of personal experience or flat out suggestions would be welcomed and appreciated!
Basically, I'm at the point in an outdoor grow where most calyx have swollen, most pistils have colored and turned in, they definitely have been stacking up resin for awhile now.. however, there are still some white pistils that haven't yet really been gobbled back up by the calyx, the amount of these are few and far between to the point where I can basically predict which pistils will turn next day. I would really love to go into early October and next weeks weather even looks very accommodating to the typical marijuana plant.. but yesterday, up through the next two days have a consistent pattern of morning fog and pretty consistent daily rain, which has me tremendously nervous. The plants seemed to love last night's rain and this mornings fog, but the obvious issue is that fungal + some insects are known to really love the wetness too. So my question is - has anyone here had experience with a similar situation.. and if so, what did they do? How were the results from their actions. Is it worth shooting for the stars to allow like a total of fifty pistils/calyx to finish up (which might not even happen) and to allow for further maturation of terpenes and trichomes, or is the risk not worth it?
Hope everyone has a nice day. Thank you!

there will allways be a new flower with fresh pistils. use a microscope to see if most of them are what you like and cut. that said i dont know when your outdoor season ends but its pretty early for most of the world.
somethimes you get fucked with mold if you leave them for too long.i even built them a little greenhouse to try to keep them dry. but as you say morning fog will make them wet no matter what.
as for the worth yea last 2 weeks allways put on mass and if you have a big outdoor plant that turns out to be some nice numbers in difference

Thank you for your insights. Yeah lol making a plexiglass roof or full greenhouse is definitely on the bucket list hopefully for next year.
Its hard cus its bagseed that I carelessly just put into a single bag. So they are a mix of cultivars king bling or the bling, motorboat (motorbreath x jet fuel), and a fast flowering papa Smurf (blue dream x cotton candy auto I think). The king bling + motorboat have estimated mid October and the papa Smurf actually does have a late September early October estimate, which actually seems to align with two of the three. (Started with twelve, 6 male, 6 female. Two of the females had some issues because I suck.. one other is planted in a terrible spot so it's stunted. But three seem cool. ( On a more despicable note, I think I may have sort of subconsciously prioritized these three because I'm only legally allowed to grow three. D': I'm sorry to the other three for my negligence.
Thank you, amnesia. Lots to think about today. Kinda leaning towards holding off for a week or two.

usually places where you defoliated if you left a part of the stem that will go black and infect the rest. or a forgotten leaf deep in the canopy
