i learned on Fox Farms. go for it. If you've never grown a plant before and aren't willing to do serious research, be prepared to fry your first crop.
1) Less is more. feed your plant when they ask for more food until you get the hang of things.
2) pH your nutrients. in soil, in hydro, in coco, pH your nutirnets. I'm purposely not going to tell you what the pH should be for each.
3) I've been growing underground and carefully for 10 years. That's not long compared to many people I know. We all read each others journals, we read the FAQ's, we all read new techniques, we all read about each others fuck ups and sometimes have a great laugh over it, cuz it does happen. We support each other, but we don't spoonfeed noobs, because there are things you can't learn by reading or being told what to do. I can tell you to plant some seeds in Ocean forest soil, and water when they're dry and don't overwater, but you won't learn what an overwatered plant looks like unless you overwater a plant and watch it, you have to do them and maybe fuck up a few times to learn the right way for the environment you create for your grow.
start reading. once you get past the basics, we'll help you out with real questions.
