I'm thinking 2 options but which one?

One of my plants that's in a friend's back yard is either dying currently or just almost ready to harvest but not sure which one. They are turning purple and the others are turning yellow and dying off . Just trying to figure out when to snip it .

They look to me like they're doing just fine. You're seeing the start of fall color changes in the leaves of your plants. That isn't anything to be concerned about. However, you're more than a few weeks from harvest time. Judging from what I see and without any other information, you won't be ready to harvest until the middle of October or there abouts.

Check the trichomes....that will get you close...look for amber.
