Impurity extraction for BHO

I have some BHO and i think there may be some impurities in it due to use of improper materials and i also wanted to get as much butane out as possible. i was thinking of doing an iso wash and recollection the crystals. anyone know of the best way to refine BHO to make it more pure? :sweating

I'm sure it's no big deal, but the way you worded this sort of concerns me.

The phrase "due to use of improper materials," begs further clarification when you're talking about something mean for ingestion?

If not for any reason but to protect yield it would help alot to know what impurities may be present in order to describe how best they might be removed. Different impurities may be easier/more difficult to remove. As far as butane goes, same as always: vac purge or excess hot ethanol w/ stirring. For my taste the "leave it out" method is questionable when working with a material as viscous as BHO.
