I cool my small grow area and light with an in-line exhaust fan. My problem is that the room seems to be running hotter than usual. I can not get at the fan without tearing the room apart. My question is do these fans loose efficiency with age or do they just stop working, i.e. bearings. Sounds Ok and there is an air flow.
Thanks in advance
Kevin

Well to answer your question. Yes and yes. Both will happen. Imo you should get in there to check it out if its hindering your room. Are your exterior temps peaking higher than usual? Usually motor before bearings, usually, are you using a speed controller?
happy farmin;)

No not using a speed controller and outside temperatures are getting colder so this won't become a real problem until spring.
