Day 8 - 11/13

DSCI0824

The indica (right down) just got transplanted.
I chose this one instead because it got a good train with 8 tops.
Not so pretty now but i think in 2 - 3 days it will look better
I'm keeping all 3 indica females in case all sativas turn out male. Only one in big pot until then.

I'm happy with the training on Skunk No1 (left down) I'm gonna try the 4 branch crucifix metode again next reg grow.
Very easy for me. I only need 2 wires and they are not in the way of the lid.

Pretty sure two of the nigerian sativa are males. I'll give them time to show.
In the meantime i made a reserve bench to get more space. Not in picture today.

Day 9 - 11/13

DSCI0825

Been rearranging some and gonna rearrange some more.................because i got a NIGERIAN GIRL today.
It's crazy man.
Gonna transplant later. (Smallest one in the middle)
3 down 1 to go.
Got a little tired of all that watering and got sloppy yesterday, so some hang a bit. All my fault.
One durban still does. Should have emptied the trays. They don't like that too many times at all. Even if they are sativa.

Status right now:
1 Nigerian sativa female and 2 male suspect.
3 Afghan indica female. 1 in big pot. (down right)
2 Durban poison male suspect and 1 undecided.
1 Skunk No1 female. (Middle down)

Been a lucky gambling so far.
Just need a Durban girl but time will tell, but at least i got one sativa, and if no durban female, then i got the 2 backup indica.
Going down to the shop to buy a lottery ticket. Laters 👋

Day 10 - 11/13

DSCI0827

Rearranged again.

I think i found a Durban poison girl.
I'm not totally sure but i think i see the smallest pistil ever.
Been checking the wrong branch on that one because of my circle training LoL

But i'm surprised that the sativas shows sex that fast. I calculated with 3 weeks.

I think i'm gonna try keep all 3 indica.
Just put 2 of them a little at a side in 1 1/2 gal pots.
Just to get a little extra indica and also because it's a good strain.
They are not going to have optimal light and maybe i end up not having room for them.
Time will tell.

MONOMENTAL HUMONGOUS EPIC UPDATE

DSCI0828

Full house.
Durban poison girl in the bag.

Gonna transplant now.
Extra lucky it's the one i've been training.
Good thing i bought that lottery ticket yesterday.

DSCI0831

New status:
3 afghan balkh indica females 2 in 1 gal pots
1 nigerian sativa female and 2 male
1 durban poison female and 1 male and 1 unknown
1 skunk No1 female

I say let the landrace begin. 3....2...1...grow

You are doing fabulous. They all look so good. How do you plan to support the flowering branches after stretch?
Thanks but that was luck.

Well the indicas don't need support. Not in this size, and they are crazy strong.
The sativas on the other hand. I don't know, weave them maybe 🤔
I was planing to use floater net but i don't think it's good for sativas.

Day 11 - 11/13

DSCI0832

Wrong white balance but now i should be coasting for some weeks or three.

They got around 25% more light now and some twisting of leaf tips going on.
Around 40.000 LUX on my meter. Around 700-840 ppfd.

Indica (down right) still not freshen up but it also got some medium stress training after i transplanted.

I have removed a few fan leafs blocking the branches. I'm tucking all i can.
Not much work with skunk no1 (back right)

The males it about to open flowers and 1 or 2 will be moved to the window shelf.

I'm gonna make some herb tea from the other males. It's good for my stomach and good for hydration.
Doesn't taste very good but not bad either and i always find myself surprised that i drank a liter.
I mix in some chamomile to better the taste.

Good weekend

Day 12 - 11/13

DSCI0840

Been training, leaf tucking a lot again and removed a few inner leafs.

DSCI0838

Skunk No1 has officially entered flowering stage. (up right)
My most easy plant ever after the crucifix training.
I havn't touched it since. Not even removed a leaf.

Indica (down right) is in pre flower mode.
The rest still only have one or two pre flowers.

Last durban still unknown sex. I really don't care about it because i don't have room for it anyway.
My setup is for 4 plants and i got 6 already.
It maybe look like there is room for more but the 40 cm in the one end is only useful for vegging.

Day 12 extra update

DSCI0841

Runoff and watering water. 6.5 both. That should be ok.

DSCI0842

I'm not saying i was stoned but anyway the reflection also hides a 2. So my runoff is around 2035.
I'm ordering a new PPM meter.
Not because i know anything about ppm and nutes, but it just seems high when i havn't added any nutes yet. But maybe it's normal in organic soil?
I can't really change anything and the plant doesn't seem to mind at all.
I took the measure for comparing for later and to try learn to know when to ad nutes.
It's from skunk no1.

Day 13 - 11/13

DSCI0845

Nigerian sativa (front middle) is now in real pre flower. I hoped it waited a couple of days.
Did some more tucking and removed some leafs and branches.

The last durban poison still not sure of sex.

I was a bit late giving skunk no1 water so it has grown a bit since yesterday when it got water. Or stretched.
I drinks a little more than i thought.
The lids really helps. They make the soil more even moist and more easy to water.

Two males removed to the window shelf before releasing pollen.
I'll let them grow and use them for herb tea. Very good for hydration. Make a few seeds too.

DSCI0843

The runoff says 2500+ today from Skunk No1.
I decided not to buy a better ppm meter because it only went to 1999 ppm so i ordered some calibration fluid instead.

Day 14 - 11/13

DSCI0852

Not much to do right now.
Skunk No1 got water and removed a leaf.
2 small indica also got water.
Durban poison also got a leaf removed.
Did some more tucking.
Still no sex sign on the last durban.

DSCI0853

Afghan indica (in the picture) still not in real pre flower yet. And that's good.
It is taking a bit longer to freshen up than i thought, but it's coming along.
I like how it has taken all the color from the bottom leafs but it's keeping them. Yeah it ran a little dry on nutes in the starter pot.
I was just fooling around with some different training and topping metodes but i like this 8 main top as well, along with the 4 branch crucifix metode and the circle training metode.

I'm afraid the nigerian sativa gonna be very small.
It doesn't grow much and i had to remove two big fan leafs yesterday to get some light to the nodes.
Hope it helps a bit.
Not complaining though. This is just a test run to see how i can run reg seeds, and i got the 2 extra indica, i didn't plan for, so i should be good anyway

Day 15 - 11/13

DSCI0855

Coasting.
The small nigerian (mid front) got removed some deform leafs to open it more up. Soil dry'ish around the stem in around 10 - 15 cm circle.
I guess i was overly nervous about the sativas wild grow.

Last durban turned out to be a male

New status.
3 Afghan Balkh hashplant. 3 of 3 females. That makes it 5 out of 5 seeds female total. So no seeds this time around.
1 Durban female and 2 males of 3 seeds.
1 Nigerian sativa female and 2 males of 3 seeds.
1 Skunk No1 feminized.

DSCI0854

Skunk No1
Growing to the light and tops hit 60.000 LUX. That should be between 1000 and 1250 ppfd
Also drinking more nowt that the roots is filling pot.
3 x watering so far and i'll check it later.

Looking good mate. Hopefully you haven't jinxed yourself with the Satty stretch comment. I've sent a ton of landrace into flower at 30-40cm and ended up with 1.5-2m plants and 5-7 weeks stretch after sex.

Is looking unusually squat though.

Just got me 80s Durban and Aladdin's Kush in today so Im pumped.

Thanks buddy.

Yeah i know these ecuator strains can get huge with 12 hours from start .

Ha ha to start with i thought my Skunk No1 was the aladdin kush that i got as free bee but i misremembered.

Gunna grab a few Filipino Kibungan and some hash plants next week now I know they get through. They didn't for quite a while here.
Yeah i don't know what's going on with their postal. Both times i bought there it was very slow but at least i got the seeds.

I got lucky this time. Think it took 9 days from France to Aus which is pretty good.

Last two tries customs took em. Has been about 4 years though so figured I'd give em another shot.

Now I can add another joint to my money removal list.
