Indoor Seedling and Flower stage, outdoor Veg? Will it work?

Hi guys so the question is basically the title, i want to do the germination, seedling stages indoors with artificial light and once i have sprouts give them 4-6 hours of natural sunlight + the rest of the 18 hour cycle in artificial light... Once they enter the veg stage i would like to keep them outdoors 24/7 until they are ready to being the flowering stage... Then i would do that final stage inside under artificial lights because i can have the smell propagate outside ....


My question is, is it doable? Will the plants effectively flower or will the changes during stages mess up the yields?

I don't like doing it that way since it raises the chances of harmful pests getting into your garden. The only way I'd do that is if I pre-treated the plants and were able to keep them in an isolated area for around a week, thoroughly checking the plant daily to make sure no hitchhikers survived the treatment, before I would introduce them to the indoor garden.

In your case you don't have much choice so I think you could do it as long as you treat them with a pesticide to kill off any bugs that may be on the plant and wipe the leaves, under and over, to remove any eggs waiting to hatch, before you put them inside.

I brought pests into the house bringing my plants outside for some sun. I'd never make that mistake again. But it's doable.

Yeah and the communist cops and the 20 year minimum sentence i would get if I can't convince them it's for my consumption only... Flowering outside is out of the question.

Have a pest management plan in action long before you bring them in.
Most here would not treat plants in flower so bringing them in clean is a big deal.

Unfortunately there's not one product that serves every purpose. There are some good ones though. A lot of people like neem oil for their outdoor grows. It's not a product you can use during flowering.

Dr Zymes is another. They claim it can be used up until the day of harvest although most here would not want to spray anything on a maturing indoor flower.

There's others I've used. I'm just not thinking of their names off hand.

Spinosad is a must IMO.
Smite kills mites.
Pyrethrum also works well.
It is best to have more than one product, so you don't build a pest that is resistant to the one product.

Personally, I like using a product called Azamax, It kills a broad spectrum of different pests that weed seems to attract and is safe to apply up to 10 days before harvest. Dr. Zymes is good also. Spinosad also is good at killing bugs.

my answer is don’t..
unless you have a few years growing experience at least, it’ll just end up in the garbage from mildew, pest, mold.. plus other issues, need proper flowering light inside, timer for light, temp humidity control/equipment.. etc etc..

A little goes a long way. Mix in small batches and only mix what you think you'll use as it doesn't stay fresh for very long after its been mixed. Whatever you have that is leftover dispose of it properly. Don't save it.

Not sure how many plants you'll need to apply pesticide to but a good spray bottle should do it. Make sure you cover the ENTIRE plant top to bottom, side to side, under and over leaves. Pay special attention to under the leaves as pests like to lay eggs there. Spray it down until it's dripping off the leaves. Not a torrent but certainly wet all over. It's OK to spray some on the surface of the media you're using to kill whatever soil bourne bugs may reside there. If you feel you have soil bourne pest problem the instructions will show you how to do a drench application to the soil to kill whatever soil bourne bugs you may have.

Don't buy a cheap spray bottle. It will have many uses in your garden so you want to buy a good quality sprayer but not break the bank. I've used both of these and they both are good quality sprayers that can take a beating.

this is a high quality sprayer that i left hydrogen peroxide mix in and it was still good a month later.. leak/air proof.. and can be used at any angle, upside down..
you guys need to quit buying junk especially from amazon or walmart etc.. haha

I would go with just a couple of the pesticides as they'll pretty much cover whatever you need. I'd go with Azamax and Dr.Zymes. Azamax is a neem oil derivative.

Your PH pen is junk. Go with Growers Toolbox from Blue Lab or PH and EC/PPM meters from Aptera. They'll be more expensive but they'll be accurate and reliable.

Forego the mylar and buy a tent.

I like the AC Infinity fan/controller series better than the fan you have posted.
