I never defoliate till they are in flower. I don’t think you’re in mold country. At least not yet. The few times I’ve wound up with two to a pot, one of them always seem to dominate the feeding frenzy. If you want to try dumping some N on the yellow one, make sure it is something with a lot of water, soluble,N. It takes a lot of time for water insoluble nitrogen to break down. I would keep feeding them as long as they look good. And if you want to spend the bucks, you might snag some recharge and water once a week with that. It doesn’t hurt anything and I think it helps break down the water in soluble nutrients that are in the soil. You might have a month yet till they start flowering. I’m not sure you’re a little farther south. So they may start flowering sooner. Ain’t this fun!
