Indoor Window Grow/Experiment (Sour Diesel by ILGM)

Hello cannabis fanatics!! Have been searching the forums for info several months now but decided to become an official member today. Hope I’m posting this in the right place

Back in April I was given a SD plant that was grown from seed. Decided I would do an experiment and grow it in my window facing the South which received about 6-8 hours of direct sun a day. In veg I transplanted her to a 1 gallon pot with Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil with Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow A+B, tried to keep it simple/basic as I was also using this as a way to learn. Also practiced LST and the occasional defoliation. I was able to train her into a great shape that fit well in my window. Had no issues with her in veg besides my girlfriend knocking her over once…what a mess

Fast forward to today. Tomorrow will be day 1 of week 8 (7 weeks from first pistil popped) she is very healthy but obviously a little behind in bud growth which makes me a little sad not gonna lie. She is about 1ft by 1ft tall with seven heads. Switched over to Advanced Nutrients Sensi Bloom A+B and gave her some molasses her last watering just to try it out. Also have started using a foliage spray once a week after some minor white mildew formed a few weeks back. She’s been taking full feedings with no problem once a week.

My question to everyone is will she even finish, will she gain more mass? I know SD takes around 11-12 weeks to finish but should she be further a long at this point? Should I cut back on giving nutrients or keep doing full feedings once a week with molasses every third watering? Also realize SD isnt known for super thick buds/colas. Is this normal for this strain at this stage or is this just a light issue? Thanks in advance for any insight or info. Have had a lot of fun doing this just was hoping for a somewhat nice harvest. IMO it hasn’t grown much in the last four months, so it probably won’t grow much more in the next month. Hopefully the buds will fatten up a little. This time of year of your lite it isn’t getting any stronger. She should finish. Done a good job of keeping it healthy. All you can do is ride it out and see what happens. You’ll get a taste off of it. Try to keep it as dark as possible during lights out.

Thanks @Oldchucky. Honestly I’m glad it didn’t grow much more then it did for a window grow….I did everything in my power to get her as bushy and low as I could without using HST, I figured that type of trauma/recovery would be to detrimental in a grow like this. I’m thinking without LST she’d be around 2.5-3ft tall. I used this project as an opportunity to figure out how this plant grows, keep it healthy, and to try to get a somewhat high quality harvest. My plan is to get a tent and do a legit indoor grow next with a better strain for indoor growing/a beginner. Update since I took the pictures Sunday she has fattened up a bit and the stank is starting to pick up. The terps are straight diesel and pledge…it’s dank. Also noticed some slight nute burn so holding off on feeding for now. Has anyone here grown SD before? If so how far behind is she and how long would you estimate it’ll take for her to finish?
