I bought a roll of insulation from a hydro store and it cost over 100.00 for a 50 foot roll.I found a roll of stuff at Lowes that looks the same but it says it is a metalized aluminum is it the same stuff because it is a lot cheaper and looks the same

Best advice you could have got... insulation is a good idea though for all aspects.

i feed my room out through a dryer vent that is always hot so it doesnt look suspicious, just an idea

I also vent out the dryer vent. I use DOW Super TUFF-R on the walls and ceiling of my grow space. It's a 5/8" thick foam board with one side blue and the other is a reflective foil! I use this because its only $10 per 4'x8' sheet and it does a few great things; sound proof, insulates, reflect's light, easy to wipe down and easy to measure and cut with a utility knife. I seal all the seams with silver tin tape. I almost for got......it's fire retardant for a few hours!!!
